I’m discerning my vocation, and happened to see this. Please pray for me. Thank you.
I broke up with my 2y gf some days ago because tbh my life was a mess and also had some important differences.
While I was putting my life in order, seeing what I wanted in my life I started wanting her to be by my side in those goals and dreams.
I want to think and discern this through while I become a better man. And if we're meant to be, I hope the Lord will make it clear.
Please pray for me.

We call that coincidence. But if you think about it, it would be strange if, with all the things that happen, a pattern seeking animal, us, would not make connections between them.
@@kevinkelly2162 To me, I do not think of this as some sort of divine message, but I do believe that there is a potential for it. It is not mine to be assured about and say "God gave ME this video;" that's narcissistic and prideful, but I should only take it as what it is and be grateful regardless.

Yes I visited the Shrine in July. It's incredible. I honestly felt his presence. He had great devotion to Our blessed Virgin Mary. Who will hold your hand further all the way to Christ ✝️🙏🏼

I have never felt that about anyone
I feel kind of disheartened because I don’t believe any of the three vocations are for me. I’m definitely not called to marriage. I don’t feel called to priesthood or religious life either. So what am I to do with my life?

If you don’t think God is calling you to any of those, He might be calling you to the dedicated single life.
Hold on, God calls us through holy singlehood, it's a stage in life. And one of the biggest things is maybe God is just saying not yet. That's why discernment is so important.
You're missing one my friend. Investigate holy singleness, it's a genuine vocation.

Interested in your opinion- does it count as trying to test God if you say you want to see X, Y, Z?
Depends on the intention i believe.
Like for example sometimes God gives signs to those who ask (e.g. Gideon and the dew in the bible) but those who ask with ill intent (e.g. Pharisees to Jesus, when Jesus was already doing signs openly) is bad.
But i may be wrong

I mean mutual respect is important when having these kinds of debates so it's not very unreasonable.

@@vaskaventi6840 I understand, but I still think that Matt should stand up for what he believes is true (Roman Catholicism obviously) and debate Jay if he is so confident that Eastern Orthodoxy is false. I agree w you though, I hope they could debate without any bitterness at the start and have a good discussion
@@nicholaschriston8978 He can still do that without engaging in some of the toxicity from Jay's community, there are other far more respectful voices like Ubi Petrus (who i think actually did debate on matts channel)
