I love the variety of builds people bring!
My personal loadout consists of crowd control, AoE and heavy sniping.
FS-37 Ravager armor for speed and grenades, shield generator for allowing me to stay close to the bugs and push em back using the Blitzer, orbital gatling to just rain death on a swarm of them, tesla tower to melt anything that isn't a charger or bile titan and the quasar to take out those chargers and bile titans who hate the tesla towers.
Careful positioning is needed as tesla towers are tricky to use, you don't want to throw them at a patrol or bug breach if you are with your team, it'll be eating an airstrike immediately after! I'm the player to run off solo and complete half the map so it's never really an issue, just be sure to constantly ping it so your teammates know, otherwise they are drawn to the bright light like a moth to a flame.
One of my favourite loadouts for Terminids is as follows.
Pair with B-08 Light Gunner Armour:
- Plasma Shotgun
- Grenade Pistol
- Stun Gernades
- MG-43 Machine Gun
- Jump Pack
- Eagle 500Kg
- Eagle Airstrike
This setup is great for randoms as it offers extreme versatility and mobility allowing you to carry if need be.
Here are some key points:
- Use the 500Kg for Titans. Can be used for crowd control but try to save for last before sending for Eagle Rearm.
- For Chargers the Plasma Shotgun works excellent if used correctly. (Extremely underrated Primary IMO.) For quick kills or when overrun, use the Stun Grenades in tandem with Eagles.
- The MG should be used more like a primary used alongside the Plasma Shotgun. Both are great for dealing with Mediums and Large Groups. The MG is also great for dealing with Shriekers.
- Every tool in this Loadout is designed around creating space, USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE! Weather to Reload, Reposition or Rotate the Map. High ground and the Plasma Shotgun go together like… well, use your imagination. 😏 😂
Lastly I’d like to mention that certain stratagems such as the Railgun, Heavy MG, Autocannon Sentry, “Guard Dog” Rover, Arc Thrower, Flame Thrower, Orbital Laser, Railcannon Strike etc… Are all good options.
Some make for good substitutes but others will fundamentally change the way this Loadout works and reduce it’s overall effectiveness.
This is just one of my preferred setups but your welcome to modify as you see fit.
I’m currently over lv.100 and have spent hundreds of hours in game using almost every weapon and support weapon.
All knowledge comes from my personal experience in game.
Overall I hope this gives new and experienced players a fresh way to play the game.

Lvl 82 and consistently come in with the most kills by a longshot (idk if that means its the best). But I use none of these except the Breaker Incendiary for my main. Does that mean this loadout is no good? That my loadout is better? No. I think it illustrates if you're a decent player it really all comes down to personal preference and that there really is no "best" loadout.
Breaker Incendiary/Redeemer/Impact Grenade/Quasar Cannon. Eagle Air strike, Eagle Cluster, Rover Guard Dog. Grenade launcher is great for cleaning up lots little enemies, if you're playing in a coordinated group every mission then this loadout works perfectly. If you're solo or in a random group it has no way of dealing with chargers or bile titans, which means you could just be eternally running from them the whole mission
Kills doesnt make you a great player. Especially with terminids. If you take down 5 bile titans and have 200 kills...that's way better than a guy with 450 kills of fodder.
@@LeftIsFascist Not really, kills are a tangible and measurable statistic. The guy only has 5 bile titan kills because he isn't swarmed by tons of "little" guys. Sorry I'm talking Helldiver difficulty here not trivial or easy lol

I have fallen in love with the jump pack for bugs and now I can't imagine myself without it lol. Pair it up with quasar cannon, stun grenades, rail cannon strike and the last stratagem ican change to what I want/need.

I've been enjoying the Spear again recently (in teams). In terms of fun factor, finding that perfect position to one-shot a bile titan brings both instant relief to the team and a nice little dopamine shot 😊

Man I just cannot, for the life of me, get the grenade launcher to kill chargers that fast. I didn't even think it was possible tbh, but now that I DO know...time to practice.
I have killed Chargers with the grenade launcher, but I couldn't do it reliably without spending most of a reload to do it. Sometimes I got lucky and it only took a few shots, other times no. Like you said it's probably a matter of practice.
It only works on PS because of bug (same as titan). Not possible on PC without 1+ mag dump.

@@TheDvscg Actually there is a bug on chargers` armor. The armor layer does not work properly when the charger is charging or turning its body.
For grenade launcher, it is possible to send grenades under chargers when they are charging and kill them in 2-4 shots. For r-36, it is possible to kill a charger in one leg hit by using this bug.
Eruptor + Quasar + Guard Dog Laser + 500 KG + 380mm barrage is the best Terminid loadout for me.
It just covers every type of encounter. Chargers, Biles, Big nests, Swarms, Medium enemies.
Your stating fax I use that but swap 500 and 380 for napalm and auto canon sentry to deal with bug breaches and swarms more effectively
Same loadout but -380mm +Railcannon (cuz it can kill Biles together with Quasar/Eruptor). I can clear any bug breaches on 9 easily with this and it's also a good loadout vs bots. But I never used the GL so I give this a try.
This or the dominator! My only deviation is that I run the eagle airstrike now with the improved lvl 4
@@roodygarat1477 napalm is still bugged you won't do the dmg.. but napalm strike will probably be meta after fire DOT gets fixed.
I don't like auto cannon sentry its inconsistent. Also dependent on good terrain.

@@NeonReaperMkVII That sounds like a heavy bug killer loadout. Nice. I like the 380mm because it almost clears out large nests and softens bug breaches. leaving you to deal with few bugs and a heavy here and there.

I personally use the the 500kg, eagle airstrike, quasar and shield and run light armor with extra nades. (Stun) and the the grenade pistol. Always works like a charm in any situation for me personally. (Except eradicates whenever i do em)

The problem that I have with the 110 Rocket attack is that over 50% of the time it never hits the larger target or even A target, Arrowhead really needs to work on the target priority and accuracy of that stratagem because otherwise it's just a waste when I constantly see it miss a broadside strike on a charger or Titan.
I believe they are in the process of fixing this. Rocket pods are free to everybody for ‘testing’
The problem? Even when it hits it won’t reliably one shot heavies. Using it now because it’s free, and even for free it feels weak.
@@zero11010Agreed, I use them a a light AT but even then yeah not good, we need more orbital or air based anti-armor or at least make the stuff that we have reliable. Just having the rail cannon is boring all of the time though at least it's limited by the number of times that you can call it down like all of the aircraft based stratagems.
Level 105. I pretty much only do bugs. I only do full clear and only difficulty 7,8,9 (mostly 9, I lower for randoms to get an idea of if they can play).
Light medical armor. The 4 total seconds of near invulnerability is huge. This leaves me feeling like the shield pack is a waste. Most important thing is maneuverability.
Eruptor for primary. One shot almost any bug, and even groups of bugs. Close bug holes.
Rover for hordes. Also switch to redeemer for close hunters.
Quasar for heavies. Will help with shrieker nests, or spore mushroom, or broadcast from across the map. Call in a second and hot swap if needed. 13 seconds per shot with one (charge up plus cool down). That makes a shrieker nest take roughly 68 seconds. A second quasar can halve that.
Airstrike. Best eagle strike. Does the same as a 500k or cluster in most breach situations. Closes bug holes, 2-3 per throw. With 4th module this does massive damage to heavies, but not a 1 shot like 500k. The 50% extra shots per eagle than 500k is big. Cluster is trash. 110 is trash. Cluster has value only when 3+ breaches happen close enough to hit all three in a line. If the game was made well napalm would be good. Fire is inconsistent and unreliable. It’s the BEST option for breach defense … in theory. Stronger on eradicate missions, or ones with small maps and constant breaches.
I like the 380 for the last. If you don’t have the 4th module the 120 is strong, after the 380 is better. This is just for big lairs. Lets you comfortably solo even a 10 hole lair. A direct hit takes out a titan. So, this can take out multiple titans with one usage. If you see multiple breaches in an area you need… clear out and drop the 380. A hit will eliminate shrieker nests or the research facility. I really mostly only use these for nests. Drop it, let it solo while you go to another objective nearby. Come back to close if anything remains.
Most important boosters are stamina (speed boost, also stamina boost for more sprinting), ammo (plus grenades and stims), and muscle enhancement (lowers slow … snow, sand, bushes, bile, hunters). Speed is king. After that, ammo and stims. After that …. Whatever. Localization confusion means fewer total breaches, but mostly you’re just running from p,ace to place and quickly finishing each thing. So, breaches aren’t always huge. The more people solo the more likely a badly timed breach is to complicate things.
I aim to complete a full clear on a 40 minute mission on difficulty 9 in 20 minutes or less with 2 or fewer deaths per player.
110 feels like garbage to me. Few shots. Not accurate. Will not solo a charger and sure won’t solo a titan. Quasar is better. Right now the 110 is free and extra and even as a free stratagem it feels weak. Can’t imagine taking it on purpose.
The supply pack is a trap. If you need supplies … hit up points of interest. Supply drop and points of interest are fine in 90% of situations. Backpack is too valuable to waste on stuff laying around already.
I try to make sure each thing does multiple roles.
If they hire people who can make games and get fire to work reliably, incendiary grenade is the way to go. With eruptor you don’t need grenades for medium bugs. They close bug holes, but your primary is the go to for that. The fire makes for a GOOD breach solution. It eliminates two waves of littles.

My current build against bugs:
EATs - chargers/titans and overall hard kick that every team mate can use.
Plasma shotgun - extreme AOE crowd control/demolish
Laser dog rover to provide 360 protection against hunters and smaller things. Its also very great as additional damage on distance. U just need to get used to control it with your rotation (to not be killed XD)
Napalm eagle to deal with bug breaches
Autocannon sentry as overall solution to deal with bug masses regardless of their armor
stun/impact grenades
grenade pistol
I found this build very handy to provide some punch against everything regardless of other divers builds.
I think my favorite loadout for terminids at the moment is Dominator, grenade pistol, impact/stuns, and then quasar, guard dog laser, orbital rail cannon, and either napalm strike or airstrike. Dominator can shred hive guards, spewers, and stalkers. To me, it's a better slugger/punisher, and then it doesn't run out of ammo constantly like the scorcher. Guard dog helps deal with with some scavengers and hunters.
That’s a good build! Dominator is great after the buff!
Eruptor is king though. With eruptor you won’t need/want the grenade pistol. Experiment with options other than rail cannon strike. It’s got a super long cooldown. It’s perfect in lower difficulty stuff. It doesn’t scale well when you have 4 titans on screen over and over and over and every 3 minutes you can … mostly take out one with a stratagem.
Don’t get me wrong. I love when someone has it. But it’s a lot of downtime for something that … kinda works.
I run normal breaker, laser drone, grenade launcher. Great for crowd control.

solid recommendation
Orbital railcannon, Eagle airstrike, Rover, Quasar, Sickle. Light armor(superior mobility vs other armor) with extra stims. With that loadout you can deal with anything.
GL and ammo backpack was my go to for bugs for so long
I stopped using the backpack with the GL after picking up the incendiary breaker. I just use the IB for trash mobs which conserves grenades for tougher targets. Frees up the back slot for whatever you like.
500kg + GL + supply pack + EAT with Eruptor(or Punisher) + Redeemer + Stun-nade with scout LA is the best loadout for me.
Redeemer + supply pack combo is more than good enough to replace a normal primary use so I only need primary to hit back the MDFK stalkers.
EAT can deal with HA bugs or snipe the radio towers, the shreiker hives from over 200m. Even its pod attack can also take down chargers, bug holes that don't smile at you or any shit like that, yah.
Been using exactly this except a dominator primary and flip flop between 500kg and airstrike. One of my favorite things to do is stun chargers and stick them with an EAT calldown, can get 3 charger kills with EAT under the right conditions
What I've heard, but haven't been able to confirm is DoTs depend on whether you are the network host, not necessarily the game host. Basically if you're hosting the game on your ship, the system generally uses your machine as the Network Host, but if someone with a faster machine/much better network connection to everyone joins, the servers may make them the Network host.
So if you've got a very powerful PC and a high bandwidth connection, you may well end up as the network host more often than not, even if you're just joining a random game.

Punisher shotgun. Impact grenades. Grenade pistol. Quasar cannon. Las drone. Eagle airstrike. Gatling sentry.
I play solo because of a couple reasons. The first reason, is playing with people without mics is tough. The second is, I cannot get my team to coordinate long enough to handle the entire mission. I LOVE this game and im currently stuck on Extreme. I can't finish any Extreme missions, because most are protect personell and defend missions. Hopefully, I can get a team that wants to work together, in the future. Right now, I currently run Breaker Incendiary, Redeemer, impact nades, grenade launcher, shield backpack, anti tank 2 rocket, and Eagle Airstrike. I desperately need a team.

I'm having the most fun with the Eruptor. It's not as OP as people are saying, but it destroys bug holes and the snipe is so satisfying to land. Especially when you get multiple enemies, bc apparently this thing shoots out a giant bullet that explodes into shrapnel
Bile spewers and brood commanders are a breeze with the Erupter. Plus it has so much ammo. I love it.
I love the eruptor so much but i do agree its not op its balanced because if it were op then there wouldnt be times where i find myself in a tight situation because of its specific limitations but its just so much fun to use i truly hope it doesnt see a nerf because of youtube tags calling it OP and Game breaking
The fact that it can reliably deal with medium armour like the spewers and can aoe packs of light , makes it so much fun for me. It clears bug holes, which means I can take the redeemer for when the hunters get close

Sickle + Quasar + Guard Dog rover (laser) + 500 kg eagle +eagle airstrike or orbital laser is reliably giving me lead in killings at difficulty 9 against bugs. You can swap the rover guard dog for jetpack for extreme survivability but it will cost you a decent amount of killings, the rover is a beast
I usually go with either breaker incindiary with qasar. Or eruptor with one of the machine guns. Shield backpack is necessary agaisnt bugs much more than agaisnt bots believe it or not

Grenade launcher+rail cannon is great til you get 3 bile titans at the same time, then you feel underpowered af, at least st level 9. I'd rather have the versatility of the quasar, which also let's you kill spore spewers from the other side of the map, and shrieker nests if you have the time.
And I'm just a sucker for the jetpack when it comes to bugs, specially if you need time to line up that quasar shot.
I use the same stratagems except instead of the grenade launcher i use the quasar and instead of the supply pack i use the shield generator pack

It’s not working. So it’s hard to guess.
I’m assuming it’s binary. It is on fire or not with new applications refreshing the timer. That’s a guess. Otherwise four people unloading a mag would be over 40 stacks. Plus each pellet can set something on fire. They track each pellet. Would you let a single shot put 10 stacks of fire on someone if up close? Then fire five rounds and stack 50 stacks of fire from a single player with four in the level … maybe 200 stacks of fire in five shots from four players … it gets out of hand fast.
It’s on fire or it isn’t. That’s how I would program it.
Not bragging, I lately have the most kills by a large margin. Last night two matches with just under 500, the next closest squadmate 280-300. Again not bragging

Blitzer + Rover = upwards of 600+ kills per game every game on lvls 7 to 9. I never see anyone but myself run this. As as supplement I use Eagle Airstrike, Quesar and Railcannon for chargers, hives and spore spewers.

The one thing I love and hate about this game is that I'm always changing my loadouts. I'd like to be able to just find something that works and stick to it, but the occasional changes to equipment has me constantly swapping stuff out which is ultimately good because that means there's more stuff for me to play with.
With that said, the one constant I have against the terminids is the jump pack. It's good for gaining ground, getting the high ground if you want to feel like the Doom Slayer being surrounded on all sides, and getting out of jams. Add an arc thrower and you become Palpatine casting sith lightning on everything in front and beneath you. Sometimes I'll swap out for a qwasar if I feel like I'm running into a lot of spore or shrieker towers which will allow me to take care of them from a distance. Also feels great to down chargers with it. I'm also a man of air superiority so I have to have my hangar and orbitals - railcanon for biles and really annoying chargers, and either a 500kg or airstrike.
For my primary, I'm always rotating between punisher, slugger, breaker, and breaker incendiary. I love the crowd control but then I get annoyed with the hive guards and brood commanders so then I'll switch to slugger - but then I'll lose that crowd control. Switching between the redeemer and senator as needed helped to cover my bases but it left me feeling unsatisfied, even worse now that the grenade pistol is feeling pretty cozy especially since it can open up the crates that the slugger can't (and I'd rather not use my compact nades on them).
People say the Blitzer is trash, but I have run it vs terminids ever since I got tired of the dot damage not working on the Breaker incendiary and it running out of ammo. I get the most kills every game if I combine it with Rover. F the meta, play what you enjoy.

I got blistez unlocked last night. And did a lv7 suicide mission with it. Did me pretty decent.
Lvl 101 and church of the Auto Cannon for bugs. I don’t see anything else giving me a semy. Light gunner armor, dominator, redeemer. 500kg, eagle air, rail cannon or rocket pods. Not about the most kills, you hold the line against heavies.
Grenade launcher been cracked since day one honestly but I never see anyone run it
I run it, and have since the beginning. Have yet to use another support weapon that keeps me alive as well.
Sorry, but nobody should use eagle pods. When they were free a couple days ago I realised how horrendous this strategem is. It doesn't even one shot chargers, and I've had instances when bile titan survives 2 of them, or they just yeet to hit nothing instead of an enemy. Not even gonna mentions bots. Hulks laugh at eagle pods most of the time. It shouldn't be that weak
I taught be how to do 300+ kills consistently against bots with the regular laser. I will always heed your words
Nothing beats the grenade launcher for bile spewers and smaller enemies. It sucks against hunters and BTs though

nope level 140 and the cluster bomb, gas strike, qusar and rather a jet pack or some other orbital or turret depending on what type of mission always get 500+ kills and get hardly any deaths cause it's so good at CC and wipes out breaches fast
MG is so underrated, Its the most "Helldiver" gun to use. It's the best mob clearer in game. It could use 50 more rounds and maybe an extra box of rounds.
It's perfect as is. Learn to aim.
I do prefer it to stalwart with a lot more stopping power...If they gave it all the extra ammo and mag it would be a little OP maybe.

The personal Shield or the rover guard dog are far superior, more viable options vs. terminids, especially for preventing the stun lock from hunters, the shield also prevents knockdown from explosions. The supply pack has no benefits other than ammo, which, as I said, is all over the map.

@ragingreaper1190 if im honest that "build" is garbage gl is not good enough on higher difficulty. you want light armour vs terminids for speed stamina and manoeuvrability and 30% detection range with shield pack for extra defence quasar one shots chargers rail cannon for titans and impact granades to take out spewers in 1 hit, incendiary breaker for small mobs and gl pistol for bug holes easily manage anything thrown at you.
you´ll be constantly needing resupplies at higher difficulties, you have no support weapon to kill titans and chargers efficiently with this. Considering what kind of damage the gl does, it should be a main weapon, not support, because you just lack sustained fire on bigger groups and takes way too long ot kill heavies.
Best loadout for bugs is:
slugger/sickle/scorcher/incendi breaker of choice (smal critter and medium critter CC weapon)
grenade pistol (bughole closing)
stun nades (cc and easy charger 1 shots with queefar)
queefar cannon (obviously the goat support weapon for bugs because infinite ammo)
1 CC stratagem (with extra fire damage upgrade the napalm strike/gas strike/normal eagle)
1 autoaim stratagem for biles (laser/rail cannon/ or maybe 500kg)
either shield or laser rover backpack ( less one shots from hunters or support killing small shit)
Light armor with extra nades (because running around is 100000x more effective than actual armor)

Precision. Strike. 70sec CD for an instant kill on ANYTHING. MG43. Super buff right now. Decimates anything, bots bugs everything.
500kg+rail is such trash. You kill 1 titan every 3 mins...EATs are better than this. Multiple titans will spawn on 9. 3-4 at a time on nests. Get good with precision, it 1 shots ANY enemy, you only need to touch the model to kill the titan

Sickle, rover, quassar, airstrike, grenade pistol, and 500kg is the best one for solo or when u want to split up from ur team. U can deal with bug breaches alone and most of the time hold ur ground against terminids in helldive. U can swap the quassar with railgun and 500 with railcannon strike. But u get the 500kg on a faster cooldown so u can deal with bile titans easily. Level 132 here and i’ve been running this to solo missions.
