Also, zenith plesioth with sonic bomb is very useful for rescuing teammates!

This game was my childhood, favourite game on my favourite console of all time, the PSP. This dude is even using my favourite longsword.

After re playing this game I recommend you guys trying Frontier, the game it's like the 2nd gen never died and continued developing their own vision aside from the main games, Its such a nostalgic and strange ride

Playing it right now. Love to walk to the edge of the game's playing space, and stare to the sceenery with a sense of wonder, what might there be, beyond the borders. These psp games gave you more what they actually could.
So much nostalgia in this. Gave me goosebumps, honestly - I played this game SO MUCH on my old psp. Amazing how the new MH games are so easy compared to this one 😆

This was the very first MH that I played. Put in hella hours in this one. SO many quality of life changes in the later games that I could never roll back lol Played this in high school and my fellow hunters with PSP would go to school super early just to hunt them plates.

474+ hours play time on this game. When we became G-rank with my bros we quit, wish we played more on this version.
Now we're playing sunbreak an boy oh boy, it's much easier. Something about Tigrex, Narga, Rajang felt so different yet somewhat very familiar.
I have a lot of love for this game if they'd remaster it in some way even just fix the hit boxes and higher than 30 fps this game would be mint 👌
I gotta say I was tempted to play freedom unite, but watching this video made me not want to lol. I can imagine the nostalgia for fans that played it before, but as a Rise/World enjoyer, I can simply not fathom enjoying some of the super non telegraphed attacks like some showcased in this video lol.
You just lern to Never stay infront of a monster or in a zone where the untelegraphed move would hit

My first monster hunter. Great memories, but this game has been objectively obliterated by the passage of time. Reminds me of MajinObama playing Brave Fencer Musashi. No one would tolerate this if it was released for the first time today lol. Lao alone unforgivably awful.

Lol My brother a huge monster hunter head said this was the best old monster hunter. So I started playing this game awhile back. Just beat Shen Gaoren. Something about this game is just so enjoyable even with the janky hitboxes
