Thank you. Your presentation is one of the best ones I have watched showing how to use the Vinted app. You take your time, explain clearly and the birds in the background make the video very relaxing instead of a stressed out fast paced tutorial. 😊
Wow thanks for all the info on Vinted - never tried it myself but gotta look into it. Thanks for putting together this video, I know it is not easy for you to be out there but I appreciate all the info you and of course Nic share... :)
Good explanation. Not keen on the idea of relying on the buyer to confirm they have received the item before payment. Who has the money while your waiting? Vinted ?
as someone who buys on vinted i never new i had to let them know i had it before you get the funds! ill make a concious effort to do mine asap thanks x
Great video Andrea - got 5 suitcases of my wife’s clothes to sell been meaning to list but clothing isn’t something I often list but I might try Vinted for these
Loved your vid! Forget selling! I went on Vinted this evening and spent a small fortune on bits for me! Totally blame you ha ha! I've only ever bought on it - you do pay a fee on check out if you buy - like a service fee- I love the way you can pick bundles and it then reverts back to the seller.
Lee Michelle ah that makes sense... I wondered where they were making there money, other than paying to bump items. I’ve bought a couple of items on there before a while ago I don’t remember that fee at the time... the site & app have improved a lot since then.
Hi Andrea great video, I've been selling on vinted for about 6 months now, it's good but slow selling. You should try mercari it's much better then vinted plus no fees also if the buyer doesn't rate you in 9 days mercari will release your funds.I sell things on there faster then eBay as there is less competition then eBay plus it is super fast to list your items even faster then vinted. I sell on eBay vinted mercari and depop. Ebay and mercari are my favourites! You should give it a go you have nothing to loose! X
You do get tracking with a large letter if you use Click and Drop. The tracking is simply a delivery scan and that is the same with parcels. I send hundreds of large letters via this method and only have a couple with no delivery scan. I hope that helps.
It depends which service you have. I have Royal Mail 24/48 along with other options. You only need to send 1000 large letters and or Parcels a year to get the service. Also, you get average weight which can be very useful. For example, parcels with an averaged weight of 1kg will cost you £2.72 2nd class.
Yes, we have that too. Nic tells me the tracking is there if we send 24 or 48. We mostly do 48 as we state second class on our items, so I'll give that a try. Thanks for the heads up :)
The tracking is auto-uploaded to eBay once the item has been dispatched. There is an option in settings to do this. The only downside to 24/48 is that there is no compensation. That is why I have moved my more expensive items to Tracked 24/48. You can send a parcel averaged 2kg for £3.95+ vat + fuel surcharge(3%) and you can send up to 20kg on the 48 option. Normally you can only send parcels up to 2kg on 48.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I've listed quite a few items on Vinted but only ever sold one. Ebay, followed by Depop, have many more sales for me. Love Vinted's functionality and app design, hopefully it can eventually be something similar to Poshmark for UK sellers.
Great information Andrea!!! Vinted has a nice platform and is very easy to use but so does Bonanza. I don't know why these other selling platforms can't do as well as Ebay, it's sad! I've tried Vinted for a couple of months and had no luck whatsoever!!! It's great if you can make it work though!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for explaining how to sell and use Vinted, I searched many videos and yours was the only one that went into detail. Thanks very much for that information. I am in the States and I am going to try Vinted out for myself now that I know something about it......Thanks.
I've sold quite a lot on vinted and I've not had a problem yet. I think the most I've had to wait for payment is about 3 -5 days as the person who bought the item missed the delivery I did not mind so much as we made sure the other knew what was going on.
Fantastic video. Will give Vinted a go. already a subscriber, all your contents. Keep up the good work and best of luck with eBay and all other selling platforms
I don't understand the postage part. Do you print off a lable or write it off? And just post normally at the post office or letterbox? I'm thinking of getting the app. Haven't used one before.
Great video! Very informative and exactly what I was looking for. Would you consider doing an updated video? I curious about what you’ve learned and your experience on Vinted since this video. Thanks!
HI, hope I didn't upset you by asking you to do a photography video (I saw your comments on your live chat the other week) - I was just trying to encourage you in your degree and talents. Everyone has some things they are good at. How are you doing on Vinted - any sales today?
Hi! You mentioned that because your buyer did not accept the package you sent them or didn't press " everything ok" you didn't receive your money until 2 weeks later. However from what I've read vintad will automatically release the funds after 2 days if the buyer does nothing. Is that wrong? I'm interested in vinted, but that would be very annoying if you would have to basically harass the buyer to get your money.
Hi I have a question. Am I correct in understanding that all communication is supposed to happen via the app? I had someone ask me to send the full price via e-mail. I politely declined though...
I have a PO Box which means I don’t receive it when it shows. It’s off putting when people ask me to release funds when I haven’t received it yet. I sell on Poshmark and never ever ask people to release funds because I know how that feels.
Hi Andrea, I watch your channel all the time. I think your both lovely people and have been very informative with your videos. Great video. Keep them coming. Also PLEASE help, I need some advice. How can I get the smell of mothballs out of vintage clothing?😧😧😧
Link to the Vinted sign up page: www.vinted.co.uk/invite/red_priscilla I also forgot to say that it is possible to use the Vinted website on your desktop to list as well :)
I signed up today and have my first sale. The app is asking for my bank details and to push test notifications to validate my bank account. I don't know if this is safe.
I'm a bit confused can someone clear this up for me😊 if someone buys my item do i have to get the packaging/box or do vinted send it to me with an address label and i just have to take it to the post?
You only get the address label, but if you sell and item that weighs less than 0.5 lbs you must provide your own packing/ box if it weighs more than that you can use priority shipping packages from usps which are completely free that can be ordered from their website :)
Great video Andrea.... No idea why you are so low in confidence. This video was informative and interesting and I would watch anything you cared to film... on top of all that you are a pretty lady. Take care my lovely. xxxxx
Hello, I love your presentation but, I would like to know what percentage of the commission goes to Vinted. I don't want to do all of the running and making somebody else Millionaire. Thank you.
Isn't vinted for personal on business use? problem with vinted is who cares how many likes you get when you want to sell things I find that they don't want to pay much and try to knock you down all the time I was asked to accept an £8 offer on a £10 item which would have only given me a £2 profit not worth me packaging it up and going to post it off!!
Thank you. Your presentation is one of the best ones I have watched showing how to use the Vinted app. You take your time, explain clearly and the birds in the background make the video very relaxing instead of a stressed out fast paced tutorial. 😊

The Treasure Pirate thanks Heather 😃
The Treasure Pirate sorry that was me saying thanks... I was signed in to the wrong account 🤦🏻♀️
Lovely Video Andrea you came across very clear and confident in all what you were saying well done
bettina tucker thank you Bettina 😊
Good explanation. Not keen on the idea of relying on the buyer to confirm they have received the item before payment. Who has the money while your waiting? Vinted ?
Yes, Vinted hold it.
Useful video thanks - Please could you do an update on your level of success with Vinted / Depop? Is it worth doing still? Thanks :)
as someone who buys on vinted i never new i had to let them know i had it before you get the funds! ill make a concious effort to do mine asap thanks x
Great video Andrea - got 5 suitcases of my wife’s clothes to sell been meaning to list but clothing isn’t something I often list but I might try Vinted for these
Thank you :) Yes, good idea
and how did you get on with it?
Hi there, sorry I missed something probably. So Vinted pays postage? Or you pay postage?
Thank you
Loved your vid! Forget selling! I went on Vinted this evening and spent a small fortune on bits for me! Totally blame you ha ha! I've only ever bought on it - you do pay a fee on check out if you buy - like a service fee- I love the way you can pick bundles and it then reverts back to the seller.

marina agathangelou how do you send items through Hermes???
Thanks for all the info on Vinted. Great to know that there is an app for clothes. Once again thanks for the video.
Peter Wray Thanks Peter 😃

Thanks, yes, I don't think it's available on standard first and second class? I came unstuck with this a few weeks back.

I'm hoping so too :) I've not had a sale on Depop yet, but I haven't got much listed at the moment.
Great Info Andrea - I thought it was just for clothes, so great to hear I can list Toys. I might use it to cross post with Etsy xx
Thanks Kerry :)
Great information Andrea!!!

Gloria 1 sorry that was me saying thanks... I was signed in to the wrong account 🤦🏻♀️
Really helpful video Andrea , thank you so much for uploading & sharing.
Thanks Alan :)
Did you find selling easy.? Do you add postage and how do you know that will be please.
Thanks for explaining how to sell and use Vinted, I searched many videos and yours was the only one that went into detail. Thanks very much for that information. I am in the States and I am going to try Vinted out for myself now that I know something about it......Thanks.

I have started to use vinted, now really enjoying, love your videos I follow you and Nic
Alison Edwards I am not sure if you are still selling at vinted. Do you have to pay to “bump” in order to sell?
Can you help, I can not find answer anywhere , why can I not deselect ups post and why does the Hermes post cost so low compare to Hermes direct ?
You can post it: Large letter-Signed for- which will give you a tracking number.
Fantastic video. Will give Vinted a go. already a subscriber, all your contents. Keep up the good work and best of luck with eBay and all other selling platforms
Well done Andrea!! 👏👏👏
I don't understand the postage part. Do you print off a lable or write it off? And just post normally at the post office or letterbox? I'm thinking of getting the app. Haven't used one before.
Hey 😊 are you still using Vinted? If so, what's your username? Its my fave app for selling and would love to check out your items xx
Great video! Very informative and exactly what I was looking for. Would you consider doing an updated video? I curious about what you’ve learned and your experience on Vinted since this video. Thanks!
Thanks for the info Andrea I signed up in January but haven’t got round to listing anything yet might put a few bits on 😊
Great video thanks Andrea. Could list most my pieces on there then. Need to get ebay built up first. Will click on link though
Thank you Karen :) I've been cross listing, but list mainly on ebay and then add a few items if i have time in the evening.
Hi thank you for the video really informative! When you are pricing the clothes do you need to add in the postage? or do Vinted give you the price?
HI, hope I didn't upset you by asking you to do a photography video (I saw your comments on your live chat the other week) - I was just trying to encourage you in your degree and talents. Everyone has some things they are good at. How are you doing on Vinted - any sales today?
Vinted is for non-commercial sellers only. I spent ages moving my listing over and now they are kicking me off!!!
Thanks for the info Andrea 👍

Love it the intro music
thank you but last day i would buy from vinted but it said'' you can't buy from it if you are out europ ''!!
so is there a way to get some stuffs ???
Hey i have a question how do you send stuf to the person?
did you find out how?
Fab Andrea you're a natural xx
Thanks Elaine :)
Hi I have a question. Am I correct in understanding that all communication is supposed to happen via the app? I had someone ask me to send the full price via e-mail. I politely declined though...
Thanks good video helped me explain to my mum better 👍
Great video Andrea! You've given me lots of food for thought. X
My problem is my buyers don’t see the buying option and I don’t know how to fix it
How you change the location for UK? Because i only see Europe
Do you drop it off at your local Hermes drop off centre thing ?
I have a PO Box which means I don’t receive it when it shows. It’s off putting when people ask me to release funds when I haven’t received it yet. I sell on Poshmark and never ever ask people to release funds because I know how that feels.
Business Sellers are not allowed to sell on Vinted due to distance selling rules so only allowed for personal items.
Great video thanks for sharing Andrea. Good job 👍👍👍
Thanks David :)
Hi I already signed up! I just sew your video I still don't know how vintages work 🙃😑😅
Do u pay tax for the income that u generate
Hi Andrea, I watch your channel all the time. I think your both lovely people and have been very informative with your videos. Great video. Keep them coming. Also PLEASE help, I need some advice. How can I get the smell of mothballs out of vintage clothing?😧😧😧

Excellent video. I hope to see more great videos from you.
Thank you :)
Thank you, very useful and informative
Amazing informative video, well done. Here to many more x
Annette Myers thanks Annette 😊
I signed up today and have my first sale. The app is asking for my bank details and to push test notifications to validate my bank account. I don't know if this is safe.
@@annabelmacrae5256 it is safe, it’s asking for details so you receive the money in your bank account
I'm a bit confused can someone clear this up for me😊 if someone buys my item do i have to get the packaging/box or do vinted send it to me with an address label and i just have to take it to the post?

Really well presented and very informative, cheers
How do I mark my item as dispatched? The buyer has received my item but she can't release the funds to me ???
Great video Andrea.... No idea why you are so low in confidence. This video was informative and interesting and I would watch anything you cared to film... on top of all that you are a pretty lady. Take care my lovely. xxxxx

Great vid Andrea!!
Thanks for such a good video Andrea
Thanks :)
So wait, do i pay for the shipping when i sell a item?
Because someone bought my item, but i didn't get money for the shipping and I'm broke as hell
Only on a Royal Mail shipped item.. not if it’s Hermes. You get the money back for the RM postage.
Thanks for the vid 😊
Great Video Andrea
Thanks Ben :)
Thanks for the information I will give it a try.. :)
Hello, I love your presentation but, I would like to know what percentage of the commission goes to Vinted. I don't want to do all of the running and making somebody else Millionaire.
Thank you.
So if I sell a shirt for $15 then I will get the whole $15 and so on? So I get the price I list ?
You get the full list price :) There are no fees for sellers but buyers would be charged 5% for the list item and a $0.70 fixed fee
Thank you
How do you send items over Hermes??? Please help cause I’m so confused
Tysm xx from belgium ❤️❤️
Same
Does this app hold your money till they get the item
Yes
I sold an item and the did not give me Royal Mail ?!
Good video well done.
Thanks Janet :)
Hello anyone could you tell me how to dropship on vinted?
Isn't vinted for personal on business use? problem with vinted is who cares how many likes you get when you want to sell things I find that they don't want to pay much and try to knock you down all the time I was asked to accept an £8 offer on a £10 item which would have only given me a £2 profit not worth me packaging it up and going to post it off!!
Nice Lithuanian app
Good info but I don’t like the sound of Vinted making sellers wait on the buyer saying they got the item
Vinted is nowhere near as good as eBay. Your presentation is good but unfortunately but vinted is full.of sellers who have misleading reviews
Have you ever been scammed 🥑😝☎️💰🤪
