The dim display will probably have a power pair and data. It would be interesting to see if the voltage was correct on the harness, and if low, trace it back. The dim LED on the main control PCB is odd. Maybe indicating a power issue?
Both the Cr/Tic and Bonus display come from the same board. I've noticed that every once in a while I have to re-solder some of the joints on the board to get all the display segments to work. I think it's because they're near the top of the game and there's no cooling going on that the internal heat weakens the joints. Re-soldering has kept mine going for a while.
