A slideshow showing all the old railway stations in Adelaide, these branch lines started to come to an end in the 1960s and the last of them closed in 2015.

So sad that they have closed, but a lot of the old Victorian ones make lovely homes. Better that than just left to rot.

A bygone era, once the backbone of the country. Sadly, many towns collapsed with the loss of the railway.

Yes so sad Port Pirie has two. The days of travelling on the train from country to city have well gone. School kids travelled on the red rattler to port Pirie. Oh days gone by

Your video reminds me why I never want to return to Aus. for me it is a sad land, all that was nice is all but gone, the folk who built the land to be so nice with so much heritage were old when i was a child. They lovely efforts made the Aus I knew look homely (not the american meaning, but to be as a comfy and nice place), Then the next generation of nitwits took over and things just got worse. To me Aus is a far of dream.
