- The is a quick overview of the 1990 Suzuki Carry that was built and shown at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas. It was about a 3-4 year process to put this truck together and it turned out better than expected. IF you have and questions or comment feel free to email me.

The coolest mini truck I’ve ever seen. Great job.
Totally cool, Tony! Thanks for posting.
love those tires
Nice video, Tony. Your truck was pretty cool at SEMA. Its great seeing the story behind it.
I love that little army truck.
One kick ass ride man!! I want one with half tracks
I originally seen your rig in Recoil magazine, great job. I almost immediately went out and bought a 1993 suzuki carry and am going to turn mine into the ultimate hunting vehicle. I also have a fabrication background and cant wait to get started on mine. Thanx for the inspiration Ai2
Hey Marcel, I'm glad to here you liked the article and had to have one of your own. They are a really fun machine to have and are a very capable machine. You'll have fun turning this into your ultimate hunting machine. Let me know if you have any questions. These things are not setup the best in the stock mode but can be completely turned around. They are not going to be a really hard core off-roader but can do quite a bit. You have to do some radical suspension mods to do the hard core stuff. Most people do't need hard core though and you will not be disappointing. They are light on power for there size but the little motor actually does a good job and the fuel economy is far, far better then any side x side you'll see. plus they are nice and quite. Mine is for sale if your interested but I'm sure you'd rather build one yourself. I spent a lot of years doing it but it was a side thing for fun and didn't plan to build it up this way when I started. I got a little carried away!! No pun intended!! Anyway good luck on your build and let me know if you have any question. You can email me directly at ai2products@gmail.com. Thank you Marcel!!
Sweet looking rig. I've heard of the Suzuki Carry. But I've never actually seen one in person. :)
Man that's a work of art! Can't wait to get started on my h3. Wañt the same feel. Thanks
Thank you for the comment. is was a fun project!!
Enjoyed your video. We have the Razor XP 1000 and Wildcat X ATV's and we enjoy them, they are strong and hold up super well on our tour.
Thanks a lot!!! was a fun project!!!
Cool Carry!!
Nice work and your Job experience
Yes that would be very cool! I here there are some diesels out there but I've never seen one.
Wow! You guys are amazing. I totally love what you did with those trucks. Makes me want to get rid of my ATV's and get one of these.
Thank you Patrick!! They are fun little rigs, but they would quit replace a 4-wheeler if your into the hard core stuff, but if you're more a less a trailer ride with some mildly crazy terrain they'd be a great machine.
I mostly ride trails and go camping with my ATV. I think this would be a great alternative.
Patrick Ryan well then this would be a perfect rig for you. This one is for sale. Just had a photo shoot today for a magazine article being written up on this beast. Should be cool!!
damn man, its so cool, im so jelaous..
Thanks for the compliment. It's was a fun project. It is for sale as well!
Too busy for me, but to each their own. Looks like you did fabulous work. Great video.
Thank you!
I plan to buy one these multi cap but one of their new versions, its turbo diesel, but it doesn't matter as long as it looked like yours, where i live Philippines, there's a lot of rough roads and mountain ranges,, your ideas are the best in functions and looks! Salute!
the design is awesome ! i just want to add if you could have something/ cover or anything to protect passengers at the back from rain or heat of the sun ?
Very good modification...
Sweet looking ride! I just bought a hi jet. What is the biggest tire u can get on this?
Love it
Want it
Sweetness!!!!
fuel efficient and reliable car. very nice
Thanks for the comment!!
Hello from Northern Japan! I have loved "kei tora" kei trucks since we have been living here (10 years)... Love the aluminum fab works! I see you also like tiny house stuff too. Neat! Ever think you might apply your fab work to the tiny house movement ;)
First of all I have to tell you that's an amazing job the details the expedition style and the customized accessories are excellent, and I read in another comment that you are selling this carry, how much are you planning to sell this little monster truck Thanks
How do you firuge out the best tire size? (Like what is too big and what is too small.)
As a matter of fact I would. I am intrigued by the whole tiny house movement and want to put myself and family in one at some point. I am looking at many designs and working on coming up with something in the near future. The whole container home / tiny home thing is what I have in mind. I want to live a debt free life and not be a slave to my life style.
any update on that 7 year later ? :D
Awesome
Ya it seem to get that label put on it all the time. It's ready to go into action if needed.
Could you tell me if there is an advantage to the placement of the front tires being under the door section as to the other model of suzuki carry where the wheels are more forward. I am wanting to build one of these and your ideas have inspired me even more. Thanks.
Drone Retrieval Unit the only things that change are the approach and the detach angles... look it up, it's very useful to know
Nice
I wish I had this
I have heard you cant drive it on the street cause they come into country as farm equipment. Is this the case with yours? Or did you find a way around that problem
Recoil Magazine brought me here. I'm rebuild a junker F250 into something like this.
I like your ideas and your ways of putting them togeather! On another note....I find that you have takin away the practicality of this machine away. I know that you said you got your ideas from some of the military. Our military off road vehicles are made very heavy and to push that big metal they have very big motors to accomplish its results. This thing only weighs 1500 lbs. I have no idea how much you added but I would imagine it has to be close to 900lbs which is its max payload. That little motor all ready was kind of weak with its original status. Im guessing it goes 35 mph max in its current condition where its stock form goes 55 mph. So do you have any ideas or plans on making the motor have more horsepower or change it out to make this vehicle back to where it is practical agian?
I have a Suzuki Carry van. With all that added iron try to make a panic stop. It flips over original. Imagine like this. But it looks cool.
what are the little mini offroad vehicles at 6:27 in the back, PLEASE respond
these vehicles are beasts. these are very common here in asia. we had a racket once and our cargo was bigger than the vehicle itself lmao we got stopped at the hi way the cop said we are carrying a freakin house 😂😂😂😂 we got away with it tho.
Thanks for watching, it was a fun project!!! Sounds like you have fun with these machine in your country!!
Ai2 Products indeed! lots of memories with these beasts. i even ride it everyday to school. its like a pimped out versions of this. can carry up to 20 people.
i have just come to learn of these mini trucks and have watched many videos
i have a polaris 500 HO 4x4 atv and a Rhino Sport 4x4 UTV
thing is , i like these trucks better but wish to know which ones are the preferred
4x4 , diff lock or no , a/c, which engine etc
any guidance would surely help me from being scammed by dealers
thanks for any help
john k most of dem doesnt have transfer case since they are very light. Aim for a diesel with 4x4 and no rust... the rest is a blank canvas which you can easily improve upon. Greetings from Argentina
I really like your mini offroader I feel it's much better to own a small truck like this rather than an atv which u can't really get registered I am from India we don't get small 4×4s but suzuki has just launched a mini truck here with twin cylinder 800cc diesel engine but no 4×4 I really love to make myself a truck like u have .
Yes these are a sweet little rig!! I'd think they'd be easy to get a hold of in India?? Not as easy to get over here. But much cheaper to get adn much more useful than an ATV for sure!! A diesel version would be very cool!! Thanks for the comment!!
you guys distributing the SubaXtreme hardware now?
Hey Just saw this from like forever ago. I actually saw your video on the overland expedition channel a few weeks ago. Very cool Forester. But for the subaXtreme stuff, I have gotten out of that and it is being handled direct out of Australia. But from what I saw you have the bumper thing under control!! Your bumpers are better than the Subaxtreme ones would be anyway. There was no winch mount in them either. But nice job on the car!! If your ever overlanding through MN stop in!!
it looks like a Tonka Truck
How much are looking to get ?
Where'd you get the lockers from?
had factory electronic rear dif-lock
I love budget car but functional
Did you ever try these tires at 55mph?
Yes, it handled it fine. But shook a little :)
what side is the front diff on ? wanna do a toyota axle swap on one if possible
Well as you'd be standing in front of the truck it would be to your right if I remember correctly. Hope that helps!!
yes thank you wish it was passenger drop but I'm gonna make it work
These things are neat...especially for playing offroad when it’s cold out. That being said, there’s literally no way to register one of those in my state...not even as an off road only vehicle or sxs. Sxs weight limit here is 1000lbs so we jad to jump through hoops and “tweak” the law to register our Polaris General.
how much does it cost to built something like that?
Well it depends on how much you can do yourself. If you have to hire it out it will be quite high!
How much is setup like that for a Suzuki carry...
It seems like an awesome little toy, and it would be awesome to have. But I don't see much potential in a bug out situation, with a vehicle that small and fragile. It's a nice little ATV though.
Is it legal to send to you a 2016 turbo diesel super carry?
Legal in what way?? Didn't know they made them in a diesel. Very cool!!
Ai2 Products the 25 year rule, although it is made outside of Japan, or any other import laws.
where are you located Sir?? Go ahead and email me direct on this. ai2products@gmail.com thank you sir. I can answer your questions on this better that way.
will be good with bit bigger tires
Would you sell your plans ?? If so how much
Hey Dylan, I would sell you the whole truck! I don't have any official plans to sell I guess. I do have prints for most of the stuff I built but not in any organized fashion. You have to email me direct to chat about it.
It's for sale if you want it!!
from what I remember from the show they were just a couple Polaris RZR side-by-side machines. Nothing special??
Its a zombie proof mini truck!
How do you stay legal on the street?
This is not legal for use on the highways up here in MN. It is licensed as a class 2 ATV up here though. Which is the same as a polaris ranger. So it is legal to drive on all the side road and county roads.
These are about as big as this one can handle in front wheel clearance and power.
computer thingy bouncing in the background to the right of his head, it messed me up
This looks much too heavy actually to use. Weight right after the second person starts to be too much. Looks cool
Well might as well line x it now hahah
how much for it cash?
bagus sekali
how much ?
email me at ashwillindustries@gmail.com.
THank you Sir!
I think those would be better for a bug out vehicle...
God, I wish these were street-legal in the states.
welding without a helmet is very poor judgment. :O
Its awesome and all but the added weight must be a bitche no ? 660cc 3 cylinder must not love it much.
Hey Yves, Ya the 660 does definitely feels the extra weight of the stuff in high range. But I low range it does seem to notice it. But more power would be nice. Love to have a diesel version!!! Thanks for the comment!!!
if these were road legal everyone would be driving them
das hasguns they are now
You doubled its weight
ok now redo a Jeep FC
Measuring tire how if ÓăÍĘć and Emily
To much weight in the front
Too much crap!
First of all I have to tell you that's an amazing job the details the expedition style and the customized accessories are excellent, and I read in another comment that you are selling this carry, how much are you planning to sell this little monster truck Thanks
Hello Sir!! Thank you for the comments on the truck. I do appreciate it! I do still have the beast and I'm asking $15K obo if your interested. Thank you!!
Thanks for the info let me check my budget and the cost of shipping and the taxes that will pay in my country to import this baby Thanks
