This video made me cry. The first time my mom was diagnosed with cancer that i was alive for, i was in second grade. I was definitely one of those apontaneous cryers you mentioned. I remember getting extra time with the guidance counselor and it helped me out so much. Fast forward to starting my senior year of high school, starting about six weeks after my mom's death. Over the next few weeks, as i was having trouble staying present in class and participating in extra-curriculars, i slowly learned that nobody at school knew my mom died over the summer. And sometimes when i told my teachers they didnt believe me because they didnt hear it from a parent. I came so close to dropping out of high school. All that to say, i completely cosign your recommendations and want to extend them beyond primary school to the whole k-12 experience. It means so much to hear you talk about this issue so kindly and compassionately. Its clear yhat youre the kind of educator who makes a big difference in student lives. Thank you for this. ❤
Thank you for sharing your experience, I’m glad you made it through school and I’m sorry it was such a lonely experience. It’s amazing what can happen if the people around you have context. Sending you lots of love 🩷

Ugh, I saw this too and honestly it just shows how hard it is for those in the public eye to get any privacy.
Right? It’s sad to think her private moment had to come out before the family was ready
Thats so sad!
Great take on the time someone should take away from jobs for their health.
We only get one life 🩷
CATHERINE, Princess of Wales...please stop calling her Kate Middleton.
You’ve got a lot of work to do tonight, stay hydrated
What's your reaction to all of this?
I think there is worse things happening in the back ground of the family. This talk she had too the public was forced I think.
I agree, it was really sad she couldn’t do this on her own timeline. I can’t imagine having to manage PR through a crisis
