Ok, you are my Garu, but not the only one. I am also taking notes from several others who have done tutorials on the first ship. You have made a lot of since of everything for me and so have a few others. Thanks
I'm really enjoying your Avorion content. You make videos that are entertaining, easy to listen to and informative. I'm looking forward to picking up this game soon.
I've been trying to keep my thrusters in sensible positions but your video has literally made me delete all 7 of my ships... New path for me... Liked and subbed... thanks.
lol I heard the crew quarters thing, the "If they can't look outside, they aren't gonna get demoralized" and just pictured the abstract horror of the crew as I default dance on another group of pirates, now suffocating in their depressurized ships.
If you want to speed up that early game progress make one ship as an explorer. Then find a place where you can hire captains and ALWAYS hire the captains. Next make about 10 to 20 of the little miner ships you see in this video. 1st you explore with that first ship. It's going to be very slow going since your still early tech. Mine a little but focus more on exploring and getting as much on your map as you can. Make special note of large asteroid fields. As you explore mine and build up resources. Start making these tiny miner ships and have them go mine using the orders system from the map. 10 to 20 of these cheap guys can mine fairly fast. Then you move your mining swarm from one field to the next. To pay their salaries you can just sell some of the resources you mine OR what I like to do is to help an ally defend against pirates because they pay you quite nicely to help defend. What's real nice is that the pirates and aliens only attack the sector you are in so your mining fleet will be 100% safe so long as you stay out of the sector they are mining and they will warn you when they can't find any resources to mine. Have fun and good luck!
@@JosephDiveley You are correct it is a great game. problem is i get bored easily. Have you checked out Dyson Sphere program. It is like Factorio. Mainly obscene recipe chains and spaghetti factories. :)
Pretty exhaustive explanation, certainly for a 15 minute video! What are your plans for this game? Did the comments on the first video give you enough pointers?
Thank you for the gameplay and tutorials watching you i made a ship that looks like a squid and requires me to shoot upside down (not practical in big bandit fights but looks fancy)
Thanks. Nice video. I do have a couple of questions 1. Is this a mmo? Is is a Co-op (Whatever that means lol), So I guess I am asking how many people at one time? 2. Does it have an off line mode. 3. What interactions will I have with other players like chatting, voice chatting, and so on? 4. Other than building ships do you make an avatar? Yes this is really basic questions but I just discovered this game and your video on it. It looks really interesting. I've only played MMORPGs to this point which I wont name in someone's video because that is rude. But I have not seen something like this. I have dreamed of building my own ship
1. It's a sandbox game that you can play online or offline, your pick. You can host it for friends or even get a dedicated server 2. Yes, that's what you're seeing in the videos 3. Don't really know. I've only played it with a buddy once. We used voice comms then. Aside from that in-game you do have a big system of members/ranks/permissions that you can set up so new people can't plunder your factions' stash. 4. No, there's no avatar. The game doesn't really have a big grind, although you can quite literally run into a wall later.
I just wanna point out without coming over as a smart ass, Iron is pronounced i-ern rather than i-ron. My Polish friends do the same pronunciation, its one of those strange words because irony is pronounced how it is spelled. But not iron :)
YESSSS. Someone I watch is finally getting into Avorion!

I wish I could give this more than one thumbs up. Thanks for taking the time to go over the absolute basics.
Awesome tutorial! Well structured and easy to understand.
Thanks for the Guide
awesome, and thanks for calling out the keys, good stuff!
Just got into Avorion, hope you do more! :D
I'd love to see more Avorion tutorials!
Great upload, thanks. Keep them coming please as I'm trying to learn Avorion.
I will be adding Bonafit to my vocabulary

Benefit + Bonus = Bonefit
Thank you so much !!!!

there is a benefit of armor nose for collision also on sides

@@TheKlecker1 Happy to help out. Valheim is a great new game to try. I love the game.

You should showcase some workshop ships, there are some real gems there.
Pretty exhaustive explanation, certainly for a 15 minute video! What are your plans for this game? Did the comments on the first video give you enough pointers?
It's hard to cover a sandbox game so I'll do some tutorials now. I'd rather enable others to play the game themselves ;)

just starting the game. I find that it is beneficial to design my front to be lithodynamic...because I crash into rocks often.
LOL! Nice one!
Been watching UAD and Avorion vids on my tablet so it is weird to see it on a bigger screen and with better audio.
Thanks for the infos.
OMG thankyou. I was about to completely rage quit this game.
Nice job, than you.
Are you able to import other peoples ship designs in to the game?
Yeah you can. You can import some beautiful ships from the workshop.
@@Stealth17Gaming TYVM.
Don't fight early ' set up cheap mining rig's 2-3' make sure they have captins and send them off to mine.
might be a weird question but do you have any other youtube channels or are you part of others? I recognise your voice from other videos.
No this is my only channel
Once you build a ship can you save the design as a class if you wanted to build another ship of the class?
Yes you can

@@Stealth17Gaming Thank you very much. You told me everything I needed to know. I think I am going to get this as soon as I can. It really looks fun.
How do you go into first person perspective (front of ship)?
if there is no resistance in space........ how do thruster work :)
