I was just about to start a new playthrough and decided to search the tubes of you for anyone playing. I am 500 hours in and still learning new things. Like what I've watched so far.
I'm really glad I found this series. I have about 150 hours in the game but it was years ago and I forget everything, it feels like. I forgot about the transforming asteroids into mines, glad you got to it in the first episode 👍👍
this game is a hidden gem, not nearly enough internet pressenc but it is one of the most ejoyable game i have ever played 200 hours playing off and on for years now but recently ive fallen deep into it and have been really enjoying it totally broke the economy lol i have a sector set up with 5 stations all producing and selling stuff whle i got 3 mining teams out on mining orders getting billions of credits and millions of materials
@@Nalasys im not great at pc stuff but my 5 yearold laptop can run it on midrange graphics settings amd still sit around 120 fps, the only issue is that the game isnt optimized very well so towards the mid-endgame youll start having a bit of lag depending on how big and complex you are making your ships
The fact that you found a mine asteroid in the first sector is insane! I have looked for them a lot and visited many seemingly big asteroids, but none were claimable.
I bought it because I thought the game contained "stealth blocks" and a signature versus detection game mechanism. That was just people on the forum wishing for it. I bought Cold Waters to get what I wanted, but now I'm actually sort of interested in this game.
i been recomended this game. and i keep going back and forth on it. its on big dale atm. 15 dollars for game and both dlcs.. so i decided i need to shit or get off the pot. so here i am to learn about the game. but its goingto be hard to compete against x4 foundations.
Not gonna lie. I began looking into X4 Foundatins, as I heard decent things. Tried it. Was not for me; and landed on this shortly after and weirdly was exactly what I wanted. For whatever reason this game has more... Meaning? Which is a weird phrase because it is sort of like saying a game like Minecraft has meaning. I just found this game isn't trying to be something it is not, like with X4. X4 attempts to be a massive universe sim but space stations felt so lifeless and dull it totally robbed the gameplay for me. X4 is still a good game, no doubt, but for whatever reason felt so lifeless.
I just wish this game let you build turrets the same way you do ships so you don't end up with a mismatched mess of randomly generated junk for the entire early to mid game
You can, there is a way to make your own turret designs to apply to any turret. I believe you need to make a blueprint for the design either in the ship builder (an edit turret button in the menu) and/or a Turret factory.
Hi there, the server ended up being shutdown due to lack of interest. There ended up being a lot of bugs related to the game itself and people started to drop like flies.

@@Renova342 Yeah I shamefully have not touched it in about 6 years.... Kind of rude of me since I love these type of games.

What kind of PC specs do you recommend? I really want the game, but don't want to play it on terrible graphics ya know?

@@Surr3alD3sign okay good call-out man. I appreciate it 👍

Nearly every time the game gives you a claimable asteroid on the starter sector
@@mysticnigtmare9696is there an easier way to fine them
This game looks amazing. I am totally going to get it today.
Love playing Avorion every so often.
Glad to see you are playing Avorion again, just got back into it myself. Looking forward to more videos. Keep up the good work
i have watched several videos from other people and in this first video i got and learnt far more than them combined

r mining is super op, only the cost of adding cargo holds to your mining ships to get around 5x the amount of materials
Sweet! Another good let's player for Avorion! Subbed! :D And really considering joining the server!
about to start playing next friday with my brother and my nephew
I like this game, I made a decent looking ship yesterday
Getting reputation is much slower than getting money, so I'd go for rep option on the first asteroid.
Havent played this game for so long i made the battlestar galactica in my play though was awsome had the fighter pods on the side

i saw this game so long ago dang I don't know what has even changed
I can't find an asteroid to claim. Is there one in every system? I've spent nearly an hour in 1 system looking. Just curious.

I know how you feel.
avorion feels even MORE lifeless than X4, i don't understand at all what you mean. the game doesn't even have an economy.
Thank you for being honest.
@fargoth391 It has an economy alright, a big one. Just need a decent trade system and star charts to see 👍
im looking at this game but how are the controls? wasd or mouse clicks?
Wasd to move and mouse for camera/aiming. Extremely easy to learn and control!!😊
pc?
Given that the game was released in 2020 - how did you play it 6 years ago?
I assume it was Early Access. I think they left EA in 2020.
Close to 3000 h and still playing it :)
sorry how made scaling UI?

Shift t on an turretwhile a turret is selected
Hi is the game free to play or do I need to pay to get it
Have to buy it, Steam often has it on sale for cheap.
You would refuse the brick? Shame
Why should I play this instead of Cosmoteer
Why not both :) ?
I can’t find your game
