The pavement looks so smooth! I was never able to learn how to skate when I was younger because I lived in an industrial district of my town, so all of the streets were riddled with cracks and potholes. This looks like a hell of a time!

Such a fucking dope city. I moved to a tiny town (Because of my dad's job) and there is no where to skate, the road is too rough and there is no sidewalks. It really sucks, I would love to live in Japan for a year or something.

dude it's so quiet. No one's around and you just get to chill. I love skating parks at night, I was homeless living at the skatepark in Boston, MA for a little while and everyone would leave by like 9-9:30. me and my friend had the whole park to ourselves

Awesome vid man! I always skate at night in Tokyo with no issue. This past Monday night I was skating in Shibuya and got stopped by the police (first time since living here) who were like だめ!Which pretty much meant not allowed in that context. They were super cool though, I guess it was where I was skating. As you said it’s a lot easier to skate at night because it’s a lot less crowded. I attempted to skate during the day through a busy section of Harajuku, but there was way to many ppl so I end up just walking 😅
Where I live, you run the risk of getting robbed or worse skating at night. From the short time I lived in Tokyo and Seoul I have to say, it was so chill in the early parts of the night. The crime rate is so low there, you never had to worry about that kinda shit. Definitely gonna be looking to move back when I can for things like this among other reasons.
Love that mentality. Skating/bmxing basicly anywhere on this planet kinda stands a bit for being a 'rebel' and ''not giving a damn'' . In every country the skate/bmx scene is the same mentality wise. (maybe not exactly the same, but all a bit in that ''rebel-corner'') ..Then I watch this video and see how the scene adapt themselves to the society itself and not being a ''i dont give a damn type of rebel''. Really love it! Myself is one of those ''dont really give a damn'' bmxers haha, but i think i might change a bit of how I act when i ride in the future.
