Hallo Nic. As one survivor to another, keep going. I was shot 7 times by a jealous bf who I had told to leave, one throught the pericardium, one through the pleura breaking a rib missing the liver, one shattering my right radius, another giving me a left radial palsy. He shot himself behind me, thinking I was dying. I managed to go down the stairs, call emergency, lie down, tell my dog to lie down when emergency services arrived. Went on to become an alpiniste, a trekker and have a very good career as a pt. I remember being extremely calm, thinking I have to get help, otherwise I will die. This helped me to have understanding with my cancer patients who were facing death. I do have PTSD, - I had treatment over 20 years later. Nic, you will do great things. And your wife is great too., because it must have been horrific to think that she was losing you. Hugs.

I was holding myself together pretty well, but ngl a few tears broke when they said his first words were to apologize to his wife. I dont want to make this about me, so I'll just say that due to certain events in my life, that hits close to home, and my heart goes out to this Trooper, his beautiful wife, and to both of their families.
Officer Nic exemplifies true bravery and dedication to duty, a shining example of what it means to serve and protect. His department surely holds him in high regard for his selflessness and courage under pressure. It is the collective hope that he not only heals completely in body but also finds peace and resilience mentally after such an ordeal. His recovery is paramount, not just for his return to duty but for his overall well-being and continued service in making a difference in the community.

It's good to see. Praying for his wife as the streets of Portland are getting much more dangerous. God bless our cops.
A dozen bullets and he survived and fought to walk again. Thats one amazing story of life. I also think the wife is amazing. Some spouses refuse to support their partners theough sicknesses or job loss and she became his care taker along with partner. True love story.
My admiration for this officer and his loving wife can't be put into words. He's an example of why we should all be glad to know that people like him put their lives on the line to protect us each and every day and sadly some don't make it home to their loved ones. To his wife i would say thank you for being this officer's personal angel and standing by his side each step of the way thru the process he has had to endure on his road to recovery. The sad note to me though is that although some did give to his go fund me account to help him out isn't it sad that his got a little over 100 thousand dollars and a criminal like George Floyd's go fund me got several million. How is that even possible? Maybe it's because the Floyd case received so much national media coverage. Why don't stories like this receive the same amount of national coverage when an officer is killed or wounded like this? You might hear about it one day and then it's out of the news and not carried on and covered for months. Stories like this are what we need to be hearing about and the donations need to be going to the men and women that put their lives on the line for us and not raised for the criminals that harm innocent people in this country every day. Our men and women in uniform are every day heroes that have to deal with the worst of society on a daily basis and they deserve much more in return from us than they ever receive or ask for. When you get the chance shake an officer's hand and thank them for their service, we owe it to them.
This made me cry, Jesus I am An African girl, Zambian and I am sooo glad this police officer Nick survived. I am grateful to God that he survived. Gracious Lord, thank you for this man’s life

I watched the unedited dash cam video of when this happened. It was a very intense scary situation. A miracle this trooper survived, he was all alone and the guy stood over him and shot almost point blank into the trooper. He was very lucky to survive.
Thank you for your service !! You’re an amazing man Nick! And Haley….God bless you for the love and care you’ve shown your husband throughout this horrible ordeal! God never gives us more than we can handle! This awful tragedy happened for a reason and Nick you’re a true walking miracle! You have a real purpose here! God bless!
Thank you Jesus for saving Nick. And all I can think of is George Floyd, a drug addict, a drug dealer, a repeated offender, while people calling on the police to be defunded! All the while, the real heroes like Nick and all the policemen across the country have been villainized. It is truly a war between evil and good.
The bravery behind nica eyes is insane . That guy is a dawg Fosho. Much love to the family and prayers that they never deal with bs like that ever again amen
Officer Nic. My heart is with you. I know you must now suffer from PTSD. I do as well. In, 2009; I had a home invasion. With, medication; that doesn't erase your memories of that night. I, thank you for your service. I'm very grateful that you are alive. God bless your heart. Take care.

Our men and women in uniform are every day heroes that have to deal with the worst of society on a daily basis and they deserve much more in return from us than they ever receive or ask for. When you get the chance shake an officer's hand and thank them for their service, we owe it to them.
This made me cry, Jesus
I am An African girl, Zambian and I am sooo glad this police officer Nick survived. I am grateful to God that he survived. Gracious Lord, thank you for this man’s life
I remember watching this on the TV show, Body Cam. I thought for sure he was killed and the footage was so horrific. This video doesn’t show it, but the impact of it is strong. It’s remarkable Nic survived. God Bless him.
I watched the unedited dash cam video of when this happened. It was a very intense scary situation. A miracle this trooper survived, he was all alone and the guy stood over him and shot almost point blank into the trooper. He was very lucky to survive.
Hopefully he gets better help for PTSD than my husband!!! My husband has nightmares almost nightly!!!
Nick Cedarberg a legitimate hero. Thank you for your service.
God bless!
Me while watching the first story 😭😭😭it is miracle he survived
Thank you Jesus for saving Nick.
And all I can think of is George Floyd, a drug addict, a drug dealer, a repeated offender, while people calling on the police to be defunded!
All the while, the real heroes like Nick and all the policemen across the country have been villainized. It is truly a war between evil and good.
The bravery behind nica eyes is insane . That guy is a dawg Fosho. Much love to the family and prayers that they never deal with bs like that ever again amen
This is a perfect example of good cops paying for the actions of the bad cops.
I don’t care about his indiscretion. He’s a Fantastic reporter. Good to see you again at what you do best ❤❤❤
What absolute hero’s. 💙
Nick Has to WRITE a book about the Whole thing!! 😊
Yes bc they definitely didn't pay that man enough ‼️
Officer Nic. My heart is with you. I know you must now suffer from PTSD. I do as well. In, 2009; I had a home invasion. With, medication; that doesn't erase your memories of that night. I, thank you for your service. I'm very grateful that you are alive. God bless your heart. Take care.
Wot an inspiration, God Bless and much respect❤
He definitely had his guardian angels with him ♥️🇬🇧
When that SUPER BAD ASS TROOPER asked God to make him a better man, God sent him his wife!!!
Thank you to our Oregon officers for all they do to protect . Pray to keep you all safe.❤
God bless you sir!!! Thank you for your service!!! Nick is one of the few angels we have here on earth!! When you want to know what a miracle looks like just look at Nick and his story…won’t see many miracles like this!!
Thank God, that’s all I can say about that scenario. Nic and his wife are a beautiful couple in uniform, I hope they stay safe and blessed
❤RIP to that psychotic jerks wife, it sounds like the rage from him was strong to strangers I can only imagine what she went through 😢
This story and the story regarding the New Mexico police officer who was pulling over a white truck are the 2 stories that really break my heart
I'm not a big fan of cops that are evil and that murder people but in this situation this Cop did nothing so my heart goes out to him and his family I hope that he's okay so sad to hear that😢❤
