    Your videos deserve twice as like as views.
    No one teaches martial art (especially MMA) as good as you do.
    I thought that the only way to learn MMA online is by taking paid courses until I came up with this channel. You are a real martial art teacher, clearing all the basics and avoiding common mistakes.
    Thanks a lot :)

      I want to know how to react properly in those situations instead of being lost of thought during the moment.
      Sparring etc isn't the same as being attacked. Once you are attacked you start to realise your weaknesses and question what you should do next. I would rather have the wit to react and protect with the technique for every possible way for you to come out as the victor 🙏

    Excellent content! Would I be right by saying that to maximise power you need to maximise rotation through the hips? It seems that it would make sense

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! And yes indeed, hips are central (litterally and figuratively) to power generation in most martial arts techniques in all ranges. In the case of punches, there is also all the joints in the legs, torso and shoulders that play a big role. Hope this helps!

    agree. i train bare knuckle to the point can punch concrete wall reasonably hard enough. people do not carry boxing glove around to fight. Mr, Fulop...i feel a great problem to attack at him my target effectively during a sparring. but there are times i feel it is easy and enjoy it. help pls.

    Would holding heavy things in your hands while practicing punches, specifically swinging punches, help? I notice while doing so, im essentially forced to use my entire body to throw the punch, and my punch does have to catch up to my body movement while doing so,

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  ปีที่แล้ว

      That could help indeed, just be careful not to go too heavy as this might create wear on your shoulder joints.

  • @sethl8065
    @sethl8065 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love the video, but curious as to why barehanded? Overtime can’t this worsen/ speed up future arthritis?

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Perhaps you need to be careful if you have a preexisting condition, but if your alignment is correct and you don’t over-train, it should just make your fists harder. Hope this helps!

  • @durgeshdubey-spaceinstitute

    Sir my legs are not flexible enough can you suggest me some exercise so i can do round house kick easily....on face....

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sure, that will take some work. Keep in mind that high kicks are a good tool to have, but not a necessity. Essentially you should do any stretch that increases the width at which you can separate your legs, and practice holding your leg up as high as possible with proper hip alignment. Check out our side kick video and stretching routine video for ideas. Hope this helps! - Patrick

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to say without a proper diagnosis. I recommend you consult a health professional as there might be something out of place or previous injury in your hand... But if you’re healthy, I would just recommend starting light and progressively increasing the power in your punches. Planking on the knuckles should help as well. Hope this helps!
