    Yes! I've been waiting for this! I feel knees are my strongest weapons since they tend to be my heaviest strikes. I have a request for dirty fighting techniques such as fingers to the eyes and throat shots unless you don't practice them. Your content just gets better and better. ^^

      Thanks, Naori. I have definitely taken note of your request and will put these techniques in the pipeline for future release. Already working on tons of content for you. Meantime, I suggest you practice hitting a punching bag or soft target with the finger jab, very slowly at first then with more speed and power; it's the best way to figure out how to do it without hurting your fingers. Hope this helps :)

      Effective Martial Arts Thank you! And I didn't know that I had that much influence... Hehe. ^^ I'll keep practicing. That's also a good way to paractice the finger jab too. More suggestions are palm strikes and edge hand chops. I would like to see those as well. :3

    Patrick, just came across your channel. Love your form in knee kicking. Thank you for providing the videos! I was looking for something to share with my son and daughter to show the effectiveness of different knee strikes and body positioning, posturing, and form with each strike. Nice flying knee strike-- reminded me of Tony Jaa's flying knee strikes.

    Great video. I have a question! Can you do karate with bowed legs?

      You would have to consult with a health professional to be sure, but I would tend to say yes, unless the condition is too serious. As a general rule, always do everything you can to improve your fitness and skills, unless you feel sharp pain associated with injury; in that case, stop what you are doing and switch to practicing something else. I would encourage you to consult if you’re not sure.
      Hope this helps!

    Hello Patrick, i really need you reply my comment to teach me what part of knee to strike without break my knee, The knee have many part of bone, some guy told me use kneecap , some one told all part of knee, and you told big bone, what big bone ?

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment, Ctygf Tyyfd. That depends on the type of knee strike you want to do. For the Up Knee and low Side Knee, you will be striking with the top part of the knee; for the front knee, it will be the top part of the shin, and for the high Side Knee it will be the inside of the knee. In any case, I recommend you try it out on a punching bag and you will get to feel which parts of your legs are strongest to strike with. Hope this helps.

    I'm considered not potentially pliable to use knee strikes rather than a hand strikes in my own designated hand-to-hand combat logistics as though I use any shifts of stances and knee guards in order to not being victimised from my own designated fighting systems
