This just reinforces the fact that there is so much to see in our beautiful country besides the usual suspects.... continue highlighting these hidden gems @maranomads❤
Hi Mara Nomads. I've been following you since forever. I'm just amazed how you adventure in the rugged countryside, especially in the Northern parts and beyond. Have you thought of venturing on other sections of the country?? I suggest you venture to Muhuru Bay, the point at which the 3 East African countries converge. Best route is join the C13 Road , few kilometers after Oloolunga, Maasai Mara and cut across Migori - Isebania Road near Migori, 52kms to Muhuru Bay. There you will find untapped white sandy beaches, like the one you presented to us on Lake Malawi.
21:35 I once left car keys in the storage pocket of a fairly large 2 room tent while camping at lake Bogoria. On the day of leaving, we went through the tedious process of taking down the tent, folding it, packing everything, and loaded the LandCruiser in preparation for leaving. I sat in the driving seat and NO keys! Thus began the long ordeal of searching, over an hour! Many of you may not know the pain of tearing a freshly arranged vehicle back down. I'm talking stuffed boot and things tied on the roof carrier. Nevertheless, we took everything down, spread the tent, then then I crawled blindly through the heavy canvas trying to feel for pockets. Long story short, I finally found the keys. Apparently I had used it to open the car in the morning then then its like I somehow put it into the tent pocket while dressing up.
Great work Nomads! Suggestion: As a geography and travel enthusiast, I recommend that you be giving more in-travel context of the places, sites, roads, regions, climate, distances from key landmarks/ institutions etc. They add interest to the video a part from giving useful information. Cheers!
The fun, spirit and beauty of the countryside wouldn’t be the same without the amazing Nomads and online Nomads like you enjoying the journey with us 🙏🏾
Scenic Silale. Next time while heading to Silale use the Paka route so that you get to see Paka Crater on the way to Silale Caldera. The roads are good as they are maintained by GDC.
10:40 "No place is too remote". I agree. I love the new editing. The colour grading is most of the scene is now perfect. What were the two huge tanks at the summit?
All 79 series have this problem of U-bolt breaking or bedding because of hauling a lot of load which makes the leaf spring swing down. Maranomad to the world❤️
Y’all were the real MVPs… the trip wouldn’t have been the same without you all… you brought a unique energy to the journey. Here’s to many more adventures together, brother 🙌
In my opinion as a video editor, the new style of your video edits is way better! The story flows, the effects are in check, the voiceovers, the use of music too. I would advise you to invest in microphones as moving in a car doing off-roading gets too much noise. Viewers will not be able to hear you well. I will be doing a Mt Longonot hike on the 15th of Dec. You will check how I will do it, the editing, sound and music. For me I do it for fun. I am a software engineer and I do hikes for fun to take a break of computer screens
2025,kindly nikubali n b kind to me,,ninunue langu gari niungane na hawa wadau wakiwa kwenye misafara ya kufurahisha nafsi,, My opinion, ukiwa na spare key uwe na safari ya mbali, beba funguo zote, moja iweke mahali salama hapaguswi ovyo,
