    For products that thin, I put a few drops into the palm of my hand and use my index finger to dip into it and transfer/spread on face. It works well if you do it quickly 😊

      As per my knowledge, EGF(sh-oligopeptide-1) are mitogens. Mitogens promote mitosis (a process of equational cell division where one cell divide to form two daughter cells). After 25 year, process of mitosis slow down, so EGF are applied tropically to accelerate mitosis/cell division. However when EGF applied on moles present in our skin, EGF also promotes mitosis on moles. Moles are generally noncancerous cells, but when mitosis/cell division occurs on moles, there is high chances that moles converted into cancerous cells, hence leading to skin cancer. So if you have moles, try to avoid products containing EGF. I hope it will be helpful.

    I have purchased and repurchased this but have been worried about using it at night lately as I always use a retinol. While I have never experienced irritation, an esthetician told me that peptides can render retinol a less effective. I have had trouble finding any research to back up her claim. What do you think. Love your channel and you! PS it was colloidal silver they were misusing! It was and still is touted as health elixir

    • @NOBSBeauty

      I'm definitely not going to mess with colloidal silver, too bad there isn't something out there that can give me a bit of a tan color, but purple and blue I'm avoiding, 🤣🤣
      I spent a few hours this weekend trying to find any published research or studies discussing the issues with Peptides and Retinol and also vitamin c/Peptide conflicts and I couldn't find anything scholarly. I'll keep looking. In the meantime if it's working for you I'd probably just stick with it.

    I think you're referring to colloidal silver re going purple or grey. On further researching it though that seems it was people making their own without a clue for quantities and refinement... the manufactured ones are fine. When I get something like a bladder infection I take heaps of it (mixed with water and store bought!). Clears it up better than antibiotics with no negative side effects ☺
    Anyway, that apart, great review and the product interests me. I do have moles but I'm not worried about EGFs so I'll no doubt try it at some stage. Thanks for all your great work. I love your channel and your personality 😊❤

      Wow, who knew, that is very interesting, I cannot imagine how living as a people person would be, I can only imagine the stares from small children. @malsiecolouraddict2189 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries ☺ silver has been used in some form for years as a natural antibiotic, but some people are still scared of colloidal silver. For myself I did lots of research on it and satisfied myself if used properly there was nothing to be scared of (for me, others may decide differently of course). I was plagued with recurring bladder infections at one stage years ago, taking course of antibiotics one after another and it not working and making me feel worse. So I looked to more natural methods, remembering I'd used the CS years ago to good effect for other things. My partner (who's a nurse) was hugely skeptical, but when he did a urine test on me he had to agree that the bacteria he'd found in it a few days previously had indeed gone! When I do it I have to use quite a lot over 2 or 3 days. It may not work for everyone but does for me (not actually had an infection for a long time now, luckily. They're the worst, aren't they!).

    • @billyb6790
      @billyb6790 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@malsiecolouraddict2189- You're right. Colloidal Silver is quite safe unless (as with any medication) you abuse it's use. Back then, when there were no antibiotics to fight bacteria, silver was used as a bactericide to combat infections. In earlier times, before antibiotics, doctors successfully used silver sutures in surgical wounds, and to combat infections, they knew that diseases could not survive in the presence of silver. Even silver dollars were put in water and milk to keep fresh and safe from bacteria and/or spoilage, etc.
      Check this interesting article detailing silver uses: >> Silver Colloids - A Brief History of The Health Support Uses of Silver.
      The article ends in this interesting note:
      Everything Old Is New Again. Some researchers, such as Dr. Leonard Keene Hirschberg, A.M., M.D. of Johns Hopkins, believe that the potential of colloidal silver is just beginning to be discovered. Unlike antibiotics, which are specific only to bacteria, Colloidal Silver disables certain enzymes needed by anaerobic bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and fungus resulting in the destruction of these enzymes. Further indication is that these bacteria cannot develop a resistance to silver, as they do with antibiotics, because silver attacks their food source, rather than them directly.
      In fact, Colloidal Silver is experiencing a well-deserved resurgence in use and research, proving once again the old adage that "There's nothing new under the sun."

      One thing i noticed by accident while using my tretinoin cream was that it made the exfoliation of my lips easier and my lips stayed soft and plumped for days, probably weeks! I have extremely dry lips (i have a tendency of licking them and biting off the skin that feels "pointy" if that makes sense)
      This is what i do: i apply tretinoin all over my face, then an extra layer on my lips, then wait 30 mins then apply vaseline all over my skin, extra layer on lips and i swear this is the only thing that can keep my lips soft, even if i skip my lipbalm for 2 days!!!

Wish they could find ingredients that just work without any issues. I agree with you about the Bio product who in the WORLD wants to pay $200 for a product you can basically get for $28? I still have no idea how they defend charging so much money for that product either. I think you could use this before tretinoin without any issues, it might give you a bit extra hydration, but I'm still a bit nervous about it because there are no long term studies on it. I don't understand the part of "cruelty free" and selling online in China. I read that this product comes without a seal (from several purchasers on Amazon) Sorry, does this mean some of the products that get to the States might get here through China? I tried listening to that part of the video several times, and didn't understand what you meant.
    Also, I find it strange that for it being one of the first ingredients, the EGF ppm level, is still only 10 ppm, which I believe it what is in others but on the bottom of the list of ingredients and many more ingredients.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically products that are sold in China must be tested on animals, which is why a product is not considered cruelty free if it is sold in China. It's pretty complicated though. If a product is sold online in China it may bypass the animal testing regulation. This article explains it well:

      'A Look Back at the Man Who Turned Blue | The Oprah Winfrey Show | Oprah Winfrey Network' - (Click on the tittle to see him at Oprah).
      In 2008, the world met Paul Karason, a man who literally turned blue after taking copious amounts of colloidal silver, a once-popular home remedy, having both drunk it and rubbed it on his skin. Five years later, at 62 years old, this medical wonder and Internet sensation died of a heart attack unrelated to his silver intake. Watch the original Oprah Show interview as Oprah and Dr. Oz listen to Paul's story and try to figure out exactly how the shocking transformation came to be.

    Mix it with Buffet as a booster. Both peptide serums. Easier application.
