And it’s not as if Max was a doting father towards Alice in the first place. He couldn’t or wouldn’t accept her and spent more time at Grants than at home with Patricia and the children. So him suddenly pretending to be concerned about both of their living arrangements if the worst happens to Patricia isn’t all that convincing for me.
Little Jimmy’s explanation to Lindz for having a bag of smack sellotaped to his abdomen was woeful. Ok, he only had a few seconds to think of something, but it wasn’t very good. He certainly inherited his feeble lying skills from his dad.
The accident was Danny’s fault. Fair enough, Max was going to fast into the cul-de-sac but Danny just stood there - no attempt to move out the way or anything.
It was good I agree. I thought to myself at the end of that scene if they do it all in one take or was it more? Because with the amount of shouting involved, their throats would’ve been aching by the end of the day.
What was great about Brookie is how they did reveals. If this were Eastenders, Nat and Georgia would have been caught in bed on Christmas Day by their parents and it would have all been a stunt. But this was much better. Georgia finally confessing to them and us seeing every second of it.

I actually kind of like Danny in a way. He’s more of a character than his Mum and Dad are.
Max is being very petty. He was responsible for running Danny over - Nat and Georgia’s bedroom antics is irrelevant.
