We've come a long ways bois Started playing Dota since i was like 12-13 and here i am 25 yrs old watching the best players around the world on my stupid iphone I remember my first hero QoP and man i didnt even know the mechanics back then, I was like reading the items and was like " this looks cool(linken) gonna buy this one" And i ended up buying a facken recipe hahahaha Man those times Playing dota is stressful but i have lot of good memories about it I think ill grow old playing this game and gonna teach my nephews/next generation how to buy wards and tango for your mid player( playing postion4-5) Dota is Life
It's nice to know Gaben actually supervised the dota2 project himself and listened to the pro players' feedbacks personally as well. Maybe it's one of the reasons why dota2 and TI has become such a huge success.

Yeah, until it was patched, improve and then it became easier. But despite all of that, not all players have an easy time getting used in a new environment back then.

I never played dota 1. I just jump straight to DotA 2 because I saw the 1 million prize. I won many small tournaments in my country but can't get to the bigger or international one. I changed my play style as the patch develop but most of all I learned from Dendi that you gotta enjoy the game and learned from Wings that you gotta master your craft to get what you want. Still playing till these days but it's sad that I have to get a real job so I spend less time on gaming. All these years and I still can't climb to 9K bracket.

Sounds like you got a lot of talent. You should really get to know the history of Dota as in, back when it was Aeon of Strife. You'll get to appreciate how Dota came to be. There's a good video somewhere that walks you through it.
atb bro... but rmb, studying is more important as most pros only last a decade in the pro scenes... so getting a degree or diploma is way more important
im 14 too, i still get top grades in my grammar school (i live in England) and i have put 4300 hours into dota whilst still doing quite well in school. Its not about not playing dota because you need to study, its just using your time correctly. I do most my homework and revision at lunchtimes so I can spend 5 hours after school playing dota, and im doing perfectly well in school.
