You based in the Philippines? May or may not affect internet connection, I'm not really sure. Honestly, it doesn't really matter what platform you buy _too much_ since Tekken plays roughly the same throughout. But generally speaking: PC runs slightly smoother in terms of servers and system structure, but know that the tournament standard is PS4. Also, I'd buy ultimate edition if you can, meaning you have and can lab all available characters from the get go. Buuuuuut your discretion. Base game is perfectly playable on its own haha
@Nmitri Mendel Buy PC if you have a good setup. Just make sure that you have good internet connection as the other guy said. Doesn't need to be very fast but definitely need to have better connections to near countries like SG, HK, JP, etc. You'll be playing against those guys often. Tekken uses a P2P connection model so you need to have decent ping with respect to the other player. Although I must say that the netcode has become so much better compared to T6 and TTT2 days. Decent connection (3 bars) comes a long way.
@@13Kr4zYAzN13 hey man any idea where the locals usually play nowadays? Arcade scene is pretty much dead since Timezone didn't upgrade from T7 beta. Might be for the best since console is much less expensive than having 20+ PHP swipes per game. But I guess that's the beauty of the arcade scene. Pushes you to the limit since it's very expensive. I'm just an average joe and would like to try and play or at least watch AK and Doujin in action.
Wouldn't know, man. I live in the US currently. As far as I knew, I thought the arcade scene was still a thing. Maybe it is, I just might not know which ones lol Was kinda hoping to check it out when I visit, but idk. Hopefully I can find where the popular internet cafés are while I'm there, at least. But I'll let you know if I hear anything man haha
As a Filipino myself this is absolutely hilarious. Especially the "Sir Chief" line. Since that is a reference to a popular TV series a few years ago called Be Careful With My Heart where the main heroine calls the main love interest Sir Chief. And "Chamba" means lucky in Filipino as well I might also add the "wag kayo maiinis, mahal ang patis" before fnatic won literally means "don't be mad, patis is expensive." patis being a type of vinegar dipping, and as you know vinegar is sour so the equivalent to what they're saying in English is "don't be a sourpuss." And Oy literally means Hey in English
I never knew where lakad matatag came from and I didn't heard it first from eSports but from a sport competition. I don't hear it much now but back then it spread widely even for non dota players. Now there are taglines for each eSports genre probably even ones that are unique to each country/servers.

"easiest money of my life" = he wagered against the opposing team and won..
lakad matatag means walk strong, walk unshakable, walk inflexible, walk secure, so meaning to easy understand matatag is strong in easy way to understand❤
I'm a Fil-Am gamer, but primarily an FGC guy. Mostly Tekken.
I was not aware of this meme. Now I am. Thanks score esports 👍
*_LAKAD MATATAAAAAAAAG_*
Maybe it is, I just might not know which ones lol
Was kinda hoping to check it out when I visit, but idk. Hopefully I can find where the popular internet cafés are while I'm there, at least. But I'll let you know if I hear anything man haha
Here at robinson novaliches we play tekken 7 only for 5 pesos
No offence but hearing how you pronounce Tagalog is probably the highlight of my day hahaha
Yea wtf
Ikr hahahahha
OG : made themselves feel like they're playing for fun rather than $ 11 m.

Who else remembers that Zai from evil genius said "Putangina mo" when the host was interviewing him?
Ahahaha
Dude, it's a good warcry. Haha. Good when you're pushing that final tower or initiating that final clash. Walk firm, walk strong!
Most meme worthy call of all time. Got four amazing chat wheels out of a 1-2 minute clip.

How is that related to this video?
@@georgea.3979 he just wants attention
The reason he said "The Easiest Money of my life" at the end is because he had a bet amounting to $200, times 3 if win..
As a Filipino myself this is absolutely hilarious.
Especially the "Sir Chief" line. Since that is a reference to a popular TV series a few years ago called Be Careful With My Heart where the main heroine calls the main love interest Sir Chief.
And "Chamba" means lucky in Filipino as well
I might also add the "wag kayo maiinis, mahal ang patis" before fnatic won literally means "don't be mad, patis is expensive." patis being a type of vinegar dipping, and as you know vinegar is sour so the equivalent to what they're saying in English is "don't be a sourpuss."
And Oy literally means Hey in English
Patis = Fish Sauce
Don't get salty, fish sauce is costy..
@@kamukazee9811 oo good one
@@Ye1nz thanks! but it's not mine..i've just read it before..
As a Martian, klokplokklok means fuck you. Putang ina mo gago means i love you. Proud to be Martian
I never knew where lakad matatag came from and I didn't heard it first from eSports but from a sport competition. I don't hear it much now but back then it spread widely even for non dota players. Now there are taglines for each eSports genre probably even ones that are unique to each country/servers.
He said "easiest money of mylife" cuz he bet 10k philippine peso(250usd) to fnatic and he won x3 30k(750usd)
io io less than $200 with the current exchange 7 years ago yeah around 250 but inflation and stuff.
