The requirements for Alice Guo to be a State Witness is not that she's the least guilty, but she's "NOT THE MOST GUILTY," and that her testimony is necessary for the conviction of her co-accused/co-conspirators. It too early for the discussion for her to be a state witness, wala payung kaso sa court at hindi pa sure kung sino yung mga co-accused nya.

STATE WITNESS?
When becoming a State Witness you have to be 100% honest and take responsibility for all past known and unknown criminal activity (this is to bolster your credibility when you testify against others in future trials) - she would/could never do this.
She has lied in tv interviews, she has lied in hearings, she illegally escaped the Philippines, even when presented with clear evidence of her lies and her true identity she double downed and claimed she was a simple farmer background and often couldn’t recall.
If she is given State Witness protection she will have ZERO credibility in any future trials - this would be a GIFT to anyone charged in the future - any defence lawyers will destroy her in cross examination and her evidence against their client will have no effect. I hope the prosecutors have backup corroborating evidence to replace her evidence once her testimony is found to be unreliable - if not future prosecutions are doomed to fail.
