The fact that the bundle is £6 (or $7.36) is honestly insanely reasonably priced for a celebrity created product. Honestly props to Ed for doing that.
Ed didn't price this or make it in his kitchen!. He put his name to it and attended a couple of taste sessions.
currently £2 ea in Sainsbury's...
@@johnmoody2365 I’m talking bout the online price
@@barrymore87 Did you expect one of the most successful and busy touring musicians on Earth to be whipping this up in his home kitchen? This is his passion project, he may not have chosen the price but he does get final say on if it will go for sale and if it's too expensive.
Wtf????
was half expecting them to start asking each other questions while eating those. Also, i really missed Jamie's dad jokes so good to see them make a comeback
haha that would have been hilarious!
i miss old sortedfood vibes in general :(
I would love to see the Sorted boys take on the wings of death across from Sean. That would be a fantastic Hot Ones interview to see.
I feel like there can never be too many kinds of hot sauce. I usually have at least 5-6 going at once, and I’d love to give these a go.
Agreed! They're all so different too 😋
@@SortedFood AWESOME GUYS!
Couldn’t agree more! I have a whole shelf in my fridge door that’s just full of hot sauces, and another that’s just pickled items. Jamie is my spirit animal 😂
Same! As we're speaking, I have 6 brands of hot sauce, 3 types of pepper corns, and 4 types of dried chilli (both ground and whole) in my cupboard, hahaha
at first I thought you meant you put at least 5-6 different types on your food at once, and was wondering how you even tasted the differences at that point xD
The amount of Ed Sheeran songs shoehorned in by Jamie. Well played sir! You deserve a place on the a team!!
He's very, very good with his music references! 👏
@@SortedFoodYESSIR 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Well done!
@@toni_go96:
The moment Mike realized what he was doing was the perfect example why every clip with Jamie in it does so well ;-)
Fun episode, but I wish you had a counter for all of Jamie’s song references!😊
Great idea - I'll mention it to the editing team for future episodes 🤣

That would be amazing ❤😂
Great episode x
@@SortedFoodthanks Haley
@@SortedFood if it encourages Jamie, maybe not :D
Now I want to see the boys go on Hot Ones and have Sean question them all while they suffer. 😂
They trained for poker face for years😅
They could also order the latest Hot Ones collection and try them in their own studio. I'd love to see Mike try to do his so-called poker face with the Last Dab.
Yes!!! Especially love to hear Ben try and analyze all the flavors while the others just die.
They couldn’t. Buffalo wings aren’t tiny or fruity. They’re make you choke when it hits your throat…
And just for the record I’ve lived in buffalo 35 years minus the 3 I went to college an hr and a half away for
We see more Tapatío than Chalula on tables around here in central California. I love watching you guys test things for us. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video with me
Thanks for watching 😀
Could also open it up to Sriracha, Tabasco, Valentina, El yucateco, or even Texas pete. It's all regional, and Tapatio is particularly Californian: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tapat%C3%ADo_hot_sauce
The look on Jamie's face as Mike says 'let's get tossing' 😂
Exactly what I came here to say 😂
I would love to see the Try Guys' Keith's sauces in a video like this! Love it!
💯
Was literally coming here to say that
Aren’t they all soy based?
I love hot sauces, and this really felt like a good spicy ketchup with some great tangy notes. So this is really good on sandwiches or as a dip. Use it like you would use sriracha or ketchup. (Hint, its especiallly good on eggs).
We haven't tried it on eggs yet - thanks for the tip :)
@@SortedFoodSounds SO good🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I found them to be overpriced and a scam. The misconception is that these are hot sauces when they are not hot sauces at all.
they are adverised as "not so hot sauces" what where you expecting@@VineyardGHS
@@SortedFoodI recommend Mexican breakfasts, like how the comment says to try it on eggs
2 pac one was pure dad joke there 😂😂😂
You know it!!! 🙌
@@SortedFoodLove this guys🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
As someone who’s guts are only happy with lemon & herbs, my toxic trait is that I want to try all of these.
Don't do it!!!!
@@SortedFood haha. Okay okay, I won’t. For now. 😜
@@Anna_TravelsByRailnahhhhhh, go for it, have the experience
I suffer with IBS so I feel for ya but I'm not a spice person plus I can't eat many fresh herbs either cos yeah they erm....clean my guts should I say in a very thorough manner 🤣🤣🤣 x
I like that Ed actually helped with the creation process, rather than just slap his name on the bottle, like many celebrities do with "their" products
Every time you guys do something with a bit of spice, I just can't help but wish some day you'd do something with Smokin' Ed, and his Hot Sauces or Peppers ^_^
I've been a follower of your channel for quite some time, now. I've always noticed how absolutely different the taste profiles and palates are whenever Jamie and Mike are paired within a video. While Jamie is an avid champion of smoky, spicy and meaty meals, Mike will always showcase refined flavours that tend towards vegetarian options and citrus notes.
I am so curious as to what they would come up with if they had made some kind of "debate" cook-off to see if Mike would taste something he'd love made by Jamie whilst Jamie would eat a dish made by Mike and love it, as well. Because it seems to be really easy to please Barry with anything as long as you add sugar to it...
Sauce Shop has a variety of incredible sauces, and each one contains zero junk. I can't recommend them enough. I'm obsessed with their Chipotle and Lime Aioli at the moment but their new Buffalo pack, which contains a Truffle Buffalo Hot Sauce and Gochujang Buffalo Sauce are simply to DIE for.
I've not had them since I left the UK 2 years ago and I do miss them.. This Carolina Mustard one is addicting.
I only discovered them recently but I must have gone through 5 jars of the buffalo sauce in the last two months. Unbelievable on wings.
Great episode. You should have the Hot Ones crew over for a test of Jamie vs their current line up
I was scrolling through the comments to see if someone had mentioned this.
Get Jamie on Hot Ones. Seeing as he likes hot sauce, he should have no problems. LOL
This is making me wonder if you ever tried Keith from the Try Guys' range of sauces? Ed's idea is kinda similar to Keith's original idea of making a mid-range hot sauce that didn't make too much heat but was still a hot sauce. Now, he has the burger sauce and the chicken sauce, I believe!
Great to see Sauce Shop make an appearance, we're rather proud of them in Nottingham. Fantastic sauces.
Yes, we're super proud to see Sauce Shop in this line up!
Would love to see a collab with Hot Ones where you take the hot sauces from the interview and put them into actual dishes!
In the area I live in (Denver CO USA), there's usually Cholula, Tabasco & Sriracha available on the table at restaurants, then Frank's is usual for buffalo wings. I'm not a big hot sauce (or heat in general) fan, but Ed's sounds delicious. Thanks 😊
As base hot sauces go, Cholula hands down is my go to! Especially their Chipotle sauce! But my favorite hotsauce is Caroline reaper and black garlic! Really gets the mouth watering
GIves you the shivers? Takes you back to London? Jamie and his Ed Sheeran puns are top tier!
The Sauce Shop sauces are so good.. This mustard based one is actually superb but it's so different to what you have in mind when you think hot sauce.. Mustart is not thought as "hot sauce" but the taste is exceptional.
I'd love to see a hot sauce round up with a bunch of hot sauces from around the world.
There are literally hundreds (maybe even thousands) of bottled hot sauces. There is no way someones taste buds would be able to do justice.
Try around till you find one you like, and go from there would be my advice.
This is so helpful! I'm rubbish with heat and want to learn to build my tolerance to it, so this video has helped explain a lot! Thanks guys!
They're both great. Love the lemon centered flavour. Goes so well with tomato!
Mike's face when he saw the tray of chicken wings was perfect
Loving all of these extra videos! Love love love sorted so much
I picked this sauce up a while ago and been enjoying it a lot, I’m a big hotsauce user and this is indeed not that spicy but very very delish! I love eating it on eggs.
5:58 Jamie's face at Mikes "let's get tossing, let's get eating" comment. 😅🤣
Yet another cracking episode lads! I stay away from table sauces that need refrigeration, like Frank's. Cholula sits proudly on my table next to El Yucateco XXX, Sarsons vinegar, Cholula Green, soy sauce, and HP Sauce.
Oklahoma represent!
NICE sauce collection! So glad you enjoyed the vid :)
@@SortedFood Can't wait to brag on my cabinet sauces... lol
People keep asking for Dad Joke of the Week when Jamie does more than one in some videos 😂
Right. It's become a bad habit for him to put hot sauce on everything. Bad Habits....Ed Sheeran.....see what he did there?
As a novice with hot sauce, these encourage me to give them a try. I also like how many times they say it is “different”. Nobody wants the market flooded with more of the same in different packages. It should bring something new to the table.
love the idea of a slightly spicier sauce you can pretty much add to anything. Sure people balk at the classic notion of dolloping ketchup on things that you shouldn't but ultimately its the sort of sauce and flavour that you honestly can add to most things.
I would love for the Sorted guys to check out the Chilli Shop in Leeds, they do regular Hot Wing tastings, featuring a bunch of Hot Ones sauces.
So was this an #ad, or is it to get the algorithm to push this channel to all Ed Sheeran fans, or why the enormous focus on that one, rather than a more general "let's test a bunch of [category] products!" like in other videos? Anyway, some funny moments, and I'm glad the guys enjoyed all their hotsauce wings!
I'm a self-confessed wimp when it comes to hot sauces (I can *cook* really spicy things well, I just can't eat them), which means I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for these.
Ok but what happened to Jamie’s Hot Sauce Holster that can be attached to the belt? Is it still in use?
Here is one for you, making your own sauces from odd ingredients, they are only odd because you don't think they should go together.
For example, the sauce packet from the Samyang Buldak Korean Hot Spicy rayum and a bit of mayo. The fat really helps tone down the spice level to a more tolerable level. And it you can make it from things you may already have in your fridge.
Same Mike ❤
I kinda want to see how the tingly sauce goes with chips or as a base for a dip for crisps
LOVE hot sauces and Ed! Perfect combo guys! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you very much for this episode. We just started carrying these two sauces at work. I was debating buying them. I WILL be purchasing them tonight.
Cholula and Franks are more for adding on to breakfast or other foods. I rarely see them as the flavoring for wings. But I do love them both.
We have a category of product where I'm from for hot/spicy ketchups and i think ted's fits that more than hot sauce
Frank's and butter are the true and original flavors of the Anchor Bar's wings from Buffalo NY. Served with BLUE CHEESE dressing, (not ranch) and celery sticks. Everything else is for fried chicken et al
Crazy Bastard Trinidad Scorpion and Clementine is my favourite, please suggest others with a similar flavour profile and I'll give them a go, I think its the orange-like vibe that draws me to it.
My two favorite things! Ed Sheeran and Sorted food! Love you guys keep it up!
Michael is glistening. Lol!
Crystal brand hot sauce is more of a Gulf Coast thing. Everywhere else it's generally Tabasco. That's the traditional greasy spoon hot sauce.
In NJ, the only "hot sauce" I've seen on a resturaunt table is Tobasco.
I love mixing Cholula with other hot sauces on wings. It adds so much to the wing sauces.
ive always wondered about Steve Os hot sauce!
It would be great to see an episode where you use hot sauces from around the globe and compare marinading with it vs dressing. Baron hot sauce from St Lucia is amazing to marinade and mixed in with ketchip!
Please do more reviews like this, it’s so fun 💗💗😊
from what i see from the video, ed sheeran did exactly what he set out to do so props to him
Yesterday we had an ad for nuts grown (with disastrous environmental results) in California, and today we have a commercial for hot sauce. What's going on with Sorted? Is there an end of year ad sales goal they are trying to hit?
You need to do this with sauces form Oh My Glaze. What they do is brilliant
Mike has his own spiciness chart showing in levels of red on his ears. 🤫😉
Video on a monday?? This made my day!
I think Jamie should make this own hot sauce and have the boys rate them.
Great idea!
+1 Spaffords Hot Sauce - Sorted :-D
4:27 They’re going to play a game of chicken. What a fun day at the office!
I've seen this sauce before in stores and been curious about it. I'll definitely give the Extra Tingly version a try. I don't know many celebrity owned foods, but I know actor Tom Hanks has his own brand of coffee that he launched in 2022 called HANX For Our Troops. Having a comparison of coffees could be a fun episode.
Eating pretty hot food regularly really does raise the bar where the hotness even registers. I'm bit of a chilihead (not like eating ghost peppers for breakfast) and sometimes people complain that my food is too hot even when I hadn't in my honest opinion put anything hot in there and I couldn't detect even a hint of that chili burn.. so I believe Jamie :D
Same here my Mothers Chilli con Carne for me is not spicy in the slightest but they think it has a decent heat so i sometimes need to add some personal spice to food lol
Yeah, i find it odd when people say Frank's is spicy but I know I just have a tolerance for spice.
@@mosh.4245 Frank's was spicy the first time I tried it years ago but that's really because it was during a part of my life I didn't like spicy stuff. Fast forward to now and it's only just a little vinegary kick.
I find a fermented hot sauce has the best flavors, instead of merely being hot. --That Buffalo Sauce sounds delicious.
For my everyday hot sauce I use Shark brand, from somewhere in Asia...
In my neck of the woods the (New Mexico, USA) The three main sauces you see are, Tapatio, Valentina, and Cholula.
I really disliked the extra hot one i tried solely because if how much it tasted like citrus.
My main two hot sauces are Encona Original Hot Pepper Sauce for some good heat or franks if i want a more mild heat.
Please guys make ANOTHER poker face challange with spicy food! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
Pfft I chuckled a little at the "two pack" joke
It was pretty clever.... I think Jamie was happy with that one 😆
Hayley @ Team Sorted
Several UK hot sauce brands mentioned here. That would be a great focus for another comparison.
Jamie’s face at “let’s get tossing, let’s get eating” 😂
Interesting to watch in general I avoid celebrity food and drinks as to many are disappointing and sold on their name and not by their quality. I may have to get a bottle of this.
Cholula is my go to for a tangy spicy chicken for mid week. I rub an entire bottle into an xl chicken and leave in the fridge overnight. Next day you just air fry that badboy and do rice and some steam veg to make an amazing quick and easy meal.
great vid. take the franks red hot, dehydrate it to a powder and then season your french fries. you will not be disappointed.
Ooooooh, what a great idea! Thanks!
Shoot, head to Eastern blighty, and get some American Chip Spice.
When we made hot wings at home we would melt a stick of unsalted butter in a sauce pan and then put in the Frank's Red Hot sauce to taste and cook down a little before we finished with celery salt. If everyone was ok with it we would toss the wings in the sauce. If not then we'd just have the bottle of Frank's on the table for everybody to add their own. The bottle would be on the table too for everyone who wanted it a little more spice. We fried our wings in an electric wok so we could regulate the temperature better for a better fry. Oh man. Damn you Sorted! I am STARVING now! STARVING!
I REALLY wanna know where Gochujang would sit in that line-up; I've been absolutely OBSESSED with it lately.
My husband found a couple of hot sauces that he enjoys because they are just enough different from Texas Pete, or Louisiana, or Cholula that he isn't bored with the same old same old flavor. One is Old Bay Hot Sauce and one is the hot sauce made by JO Spices in Maryland (online shopping helps when you live in West Texas).
How bout a taste test of popular/common American BBQ sauces? Or even better, regional BBQ sauces (Kansas City, Carolina (east and gold), Alabama white, St louis, Texas, ...)
I haven't actually watched the whole video, but here's crossing fingers that Ed actually makes an appearance!
Wouldn't that be ACE????
@@SortedFoodYES🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
As a proud resident of Buffalo, NY for my entire life, I bleed Franks. I am actually a bit of a wimp when it comes to spicy foods (medium wings are about all I can handle,) but Franks is the perfect level of spice for me. Their marketing is actually quite true - "I put that stuff on everything!"
Buffalo wings is butter and the hot sauce. Do y'all have Tapatio Hot Sauce? You should try it.
It's quite good actually, although not spicy at all. I tried both.
Just cooked my first sorted sidekick app dinner! Absolutely delicious!
You need to do Keith's Not Too Hot Sauces! I wanna try them so bad, I need to know if they're worth getting
Sorry, but in the US Cholula and Tapatio are the two I see most. Very rarely do I see Crystal Hot Sauce in restaurants. Love you guys anyway. Such a fun channel.
Thank you Mike and Jamie. Great job and review! I am sold.
I use the sauce shop buffalo on chicken thighs on my bbq . 2 coats and baked on slightly , delicious and got a punch . I will try Franks this summer and see what I think.
I'm always up for trying a new hot sauce. These actually sound right up my alley, for something that can go with a lot of things and not be overpowering. I will be trying them... the price isn't bad for a twin pack. My favorite is Cholula and Franks, interchangeably. But then it depends on what I'm having it with. :)
Most wing sauces benefit from five minutes at 375 F to evaporate the vinegar.
The way Mike is talking about all the sauces. 👌🏻👌🏻Mike for Sous Chef!!! 👨🍳
I want some of that sauce. Haven’t seen it in Australia
As an American, nah Tabasco is on 90% of tables, where I work we also have tapitio, cholula is def more common when I lived in the south but sadly not enough have it. Crystal is defenitly more common in my experience than cholula
This comment likely won't apply to ALL of American, because our country is HUGE and diverse. That said, in my area, we wouldn't coat our wings in Frank's or Cholula alone. They're used more as a condiment to be splashed or dashed on foods. Cholula is typically seen more in Mexican-American restaurants, Frank's more in diner style restaurants, especially beloved dashed on breakfast foods lol. For chicken wings, we wouldn't coat in those two 'sauces' solely. They would be combined with other ingredients such as vinegar and butter to make a more cohesive sauce. They're a base for sauces, imho. They're lovely on their own but better together with other ingredients for a more complex, rounded sauce, if that makes sense. Would love to try the other two sauces though! Looks great! Love your channel, as always!
Yes, Frank's Red Hot isn't itself a wing sauce. That said, they do sell a prepared wing sauce.
YES!!! It's pretty good! I was just pointing out that it's not really used alone for wings here in the states. @@rcrawford42
Anyone else think how ballsy it is that Mike's wearing a white jumper for eating chicken wings and hot sauce?
The Sorted crew need to be guests on Hot Ones!! Or just do the "Truth or Dab" challenge.
Ah yes when I think of hot sauce, I think of pasty gingers from an island that finds salt too spicy.
Most wing shops that use frank's mix it with A LOT of butter before coating the wings, which obviously makes it 1000x better. Good wing sauce isn't 100% hot sauce.
from the description, the tingly teds sound like an extra mild version of secret aardvark's habanero hot sauce. it's got a lot of sweetness from carrot, and tends to raise your spice tolerance over time because you can't stop eating it
Would love to see you guys do the hot ones gauntlet! Granted you probably can't get The bomb beyond insanity in uk, but they do box set with all the others.
