I made my husband listen to this at least once a month. We met online(not a dating site!) when we were in our 50's. He was everything I prayed for. He said I was the same. He passed away 8 years ago, knowing he was my miracle and my sexy thing and that I was his.
@@jeannierusso2134 Thank you! We always knew God brought us together. We'll see each other again when I join him. Until then, memories of our life together are often and sweet.
A band covered this at a local bar. Everyone including me who never dances were on the dance floor. When they came up for the last set this was the last song. You can't help but dance.
I met Erroll long before he was famous his group was called exodus back in the day I told him he would make it in the music business he was managed by Mickie most at the time rest in peace my man I'm 75 years old now and loved his music
Hello there. I am from Barbados, and as youngsters growing up, we always adored Erroll's music. Fantastic group back then and still popular in 2024. RIP my brother.
Unvergessen Hot Chocolate. Bin 72 Jahre und höre seine Songs immer noch gerne. Tanze dazu bei der Küchenarbeit und zuhause. Toller Künstler. Immer in meiner Erinnerung.
Hot Chocolate's very best recording! Should have won a Grammy. The lyrics, melody & music blends so well together. It was a big hit in the Disco era. I believe in miracles too! LOL!
Having worked as a roadie with The Chocs, as we called them, I can honestly say that it was a great time of my life. The live shows through the 80s were brilliant, everyone sold out, and a bunch of guys who were a privilege to work with.
This is such an awesomely fantastic band. Errol‘s famous 2 steppin‘ dance and so many classic great number 1 disco 🕺🏼 songs unforgettable and still alive in so many of us!
Errol this song still bring butterflies in my stomach. I heard it 1st time as a teenager, im now 65😂still love your voice. All my blessings from Cape Town, South Africa ❤❤❤❤❤
One of the most iconic disco tracks of the 70's that still sounds fresh today. Hot Chocolate were a seriously good band that were justifiably successful.
@X S Actually they were not a "1 hit wonder". They had another top 10 on the U.S. charts called "Everyone 's a Winner". They also had a top 10 each year for 14 consecutive years on their native UK charts.
@@momluvssisi They also have been very successful here in Germoney with a lot of Top Ten and Twenty hits here in Germoney. Back in the day that meant lots of Money. No No. 1 needed. Apart from that, judging a band predominantly by it´s financial success is really ridiculous.
Errol Browns voice was a gift, these songs stand the test of time because they are wonderful memories of a time when life was simpler, happier and we didn't live with terrorism and hatred. Beautiful riff.....long live this music...
The moment I heard this song on the Midnight Special, I was taken. The vibe (riff & base) and yes (if you like to dance) Earl's presentation. It was captivating. Here I am 44 years later still talking about this song.
Brings me back to when I was a young man and I loved all the ladies. That song was a dance floor killer. Thank you Hot Chocolate for many happy nights.
A cool pick up line where ya from you sexy thing, great 70s music still going, love Errols soul sound the group was together in all manner of their songs, smooth as.
Thank you Errol Brown, your music contributed to quite a few hot nights back in the 80s. Great original voice and songs - definitely makes me turn up the volume :)!
Great song and brings back so many wonderful memories of my youth at that time. I was 13 yo when this song hit the charts and when it was on The Midnight Special that followed the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson...Back then it was a great time to be a kid growing up in America compared to now...
Erroll Brown was truly a gifted and seemingly gentle spirited individual. Although a funk soul kinda thing the music he wrote and shared in Hot Chocolate was loved by rock fans and even country music fans.

I feel it is the other way around.... the skill and sound and originality are amazing... whereas somehow visual show lacks enthusiasm .. i think they needed a crazy kind of lead singer or something to have gone star bound. The musicians too are static meanwhile playing admittedly perfectly their instruments. But their music was the rage in its day, and still sounds great. Gotta lovebthese oldies.
