Oh my. I have only recently discovered a Musical version of The Secret Garden existed. I greatly admire Ramin's work and having now heard Ramin's and Cheyanne's voices melding together... To quote The Grinch "I'm leaking!" *dashes away a tear* Outstanding gentlemen, Bravo.
For some reason, "Lily's Eyes" has never ever really made me emotional enough to the point where I cry. Yet, for some reason here, I start tearing up and crying. The guy who's singing parallel to Ramin brings so much more emotion then any other man I've ever heard sing that part. When he sings the part, "The girl who has Lily's eyes..." Is just so emotional. Usually, Ramin always makes me cry with whatever he sings. But the other guy made me forgot Ramin was even there. BRAVO👏🏼
Well his (the doctor's) part actually is more emotional because of his unrequited love for Lily. Archibald is more awestruck, but the doctor is mourning the love he never had :,(
Amelia Tyler I respectfully disagree. I think Mandy and Robert - even Philip Quast and Anthony Warlow - are way more emotional. I LOVE Ramin. He and his counterpart sound great. But I just don't feel the emotion in this particular clip.
Okay, THANK YOU. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for the full Lily's Eyes duet from this cast. Thanks for posting it!!! It's my favorite song in the show, tied only with How Could I Ever Know. I was just cast as Lily Craven in a production of this show, and this just makes me so thrilled and excited to be a part of it!
