I only started with my college application and essays about three weeks in advance, I’m almost done and it’s possible, but I would certainly advice starting earlier
Fr just hearing essays scares me but what helps me go through it is by starting early and doing it paragraph by paragraph. Sometimes I find myself finishing the essay in one sitting. The hardest/scariest part is starting

I have a thing in my district we’re you can go to this facility and learn actual jobs instead of worthless school, and they have classes for cybersecurity which can land you with a job starting at a salary of $70k, and I’d love that, instead of paying a student loan half my life

You should befriend teachers in ninth😩 this gave me so many more options when asking for letters
some colleges prefer 11th or 10th teachers some even require if so idk if that works

I’m thankfully already doing most of this. The only thing I haven’t done is prep for the PSAT, since I have to focus on the SAT and ACT for my AP Calc classes.

Throughout high school if your school offers it I recommend JROTC. It Looks Great on resumes and college applications. It’s a Program sponsored by the military. It teaches real world skills and gives you community service experience. JROTC does take place during school hours though so you can only have one other elective, but it’s worth it because at most schools it counts for a physical education credit.

It’s too late in the year to sign up for honors. In my sophomore year, do you think it would be easier to do honors first, and then AP classes in my junior and senior years? I just now realized that AP classes are college level. What do you think?
