How has Hyundai not recalled these yet? Someone is going to either drown or burn up because they're stuck in the back seat and can't get out. This is ridiculous! Near as I can tell it's a universal failure on this car (and DON'T even get me started on the $300 window regulators!!!). Sorry for venting, I know you just work there. Thanks for the help video.
I know your frustration. Actually if youre in Canada, Hyundai just released recently (march 4 2020) a bulletin regarding this issue. Hope that helps.

I got an emergency recall letter in the mail that my model Hyundai is bursting into flames while parked, no keys, not running (just sitting). I scheduled an appointment and took it in and they said it would be around $1000-$1100usd to get it looked at and give me the estimate to get the recall fixed. Seems insane to me. Between getting locked inside the car, potential to burst into flames at any moment (even when parked, say at night in your garage while you and your kids are inside asleep in bed) and the undercarriage rust issue in which case I had a control arm bust off prematurely. Luckily I wasn't going fast cause that could definitely be a death sentence on a highway or expressway. Anyways yeah, the cost savings on buying anything from this company is not worth it, especially if you have a family. They are totally okay with putting what amount to KNOW DEATH TRAPS on the road and figuring, well how many could actually file suit, we will still make out like bandits with all the corners we've cut so let's move forward with these planned cuts. In my case the dealer literally used a recall as a foot in the door to charge tons of money. All of this is true, look up your model and see what hazards lurk.

Hey! thanks for the video I have the same issue with my tucson 2016 but mine is opening from the inside but sometimes doesn’t work from the outside. To Open the door I have to work the door a few times and then you can hear like a really small “click” inside of the door after that “click” the handle from outside of the with work and open the door. The difference between mine and the other videos that I saw it’s that from the inside it’s always working no matter what the door open in the first time but from the outside it’s the issue and I need to work the door handle a few times before it opens.
Looks like you have sticking actuator., in my opinion, i would recommend to check the actuator especially the cable and its components for the outside door handle. I hope that helps

I have A 2011 KIA Sorento, since KIA is part on Hyundai would rear door actuator replacement the same? When I put my KIA into gear, all door latches lock except one. The one door lock clicks lock and open two times before it finally locks. What do you think?
So the faulty one you mean doesnt lock or unlock with key fob, with the door switch or when putting to gear to park or drive? Yeah most of the time they are almost the same, its just the the mounting screws on the panel would be different in my opinion. Hope that helps
@@hyundaitech It locks and unlocks but goes through the lock/unlock, lock/unlock and the final lock within 5 seconds.
The other three doors lock on the first try as you shift the car into gear, the one bad door locks and opens 2 to 3 times before it finally locks. The FOB works and the main driver control works to lock the doors.
Can you list out the tools that you used to get this done?
You need trim tool to remove the panel, 10 mm socket, tape to hold the glass screw driver and torx im not sure the size maybe t25? Hope that helps.
I had the same issue but the difference between yours and mine it’s that my doors are opening from the inside no matter what it’s working perfectly but from the outside it’s my issue I have to work the door handle a few Times and after that you can hear a “clink” and then it will open

Its a door latch, i think i would recommend original to prevent for any problems like fitment issues.

I have the same problem. I'm from europe, belgium. The part oem is 81420 d7510 for mine 2016 tucson. I can't find an aftermarket piece on this number. Will the 81420 d3000 fitt either. Thanks a lot!
Hi what vehicle year model you have? The 81420 d3000 is for tucson TL, i believe thats 2016 to 2017 models. I dont know that 1st part number you wrote for what car. Let me know
@@hyundaitech it's a Hyundai Tucson from 2016, this type is a TLE. I asked for that part in a Hyundai dealer it costs 320€ only the part. I asked the OEM and it was 81420-d7510. I looked on the internet for that specific part but i coudln't find with the exact numbers. 81420 d3000 looks just the same and there ar a lot on the internet that's why i'm asking if it wil fitt. Thanks

Thanks for your reply back , I have a 2017 Hyundai tucson turbo 1.6 and getting codes PO300 P1921 and PO302, I change Coil packs put new spark plugs. If you could give me some advice it would help thanks
@@damsonortega1593 and still misfiring? Does the engine making noise? If you have a scanner can you check the data for the high pressure pump? Its either you dont have enough high pressure to the rail or something is going on to high pressure pump.
It sounded differently and it shaking, would that cause transmission problems surge can't change gears too ? The scan tool we used is a small one ask my son if it could do that check the date what would we look for?
@@damsonortega1593 does the shaking when its just idling? Or when from a stop and trying to move forward? Maybe you have two different issue? For the data, look for the fuel pressure data, during idle should be around 500 psi or more then snap throttle at 1000 more or less psi.

What do you mean wont lock? Like the hinge will not close? Like when you close the tailgate you can just open it without pressing the button? If thats the case you need new tailgate latch maybe the mechanism inside the latch is broken. Hope that helps

There's another screw holding the window
On my Tucson two doors were stuck. I was able to open the front one hitting near the latch but for the rear one this kind of persuasion is not working. How can I get the door opened?
Either you be patient and keep banging the exterior door neer the door handle, the worst case is you have to remove the interior panel from the inside and disassemble from there. Hope that helps

@@fabiodaddamio2173 it should coz it happened to me that i have to access from the inside. Just a warning you might damage the interior trim.
@@hyundaitech No luck, I removed the interior trim from the inside cutting the head of the 3 GROMMET ASSY-TAPPING with a chisel. I see the latch but the door is still closed. Any suggestion about the next step? This a Tucson 2013
