@@shadowghost7775 As an enormous fan of the game that has played it multiple times, you're right, that is the point of the game. That doesn't make it tolerable. Some people are just not going to be able to endure bad or mediocre gameplay for the sake of wider storytelling, and that's fine imo.
@@hee-ho7126 Personally I don't think it's bad, just mediocre. Same way I feel about Drakengard 2, comparing it to anything else in the genre shows its flaws heavily. But I don't think Drakengard is a complete package as a story without the symbolism of its gameplay. I think the heavy symbolism are largely what make the story the masterpiece that it is.
"welcome to a world without song" man that hit hard after Drakengard 3 that should be a prequel to the 1 lets just say if this game was released in 2024 with the same concept only better mechanics would be a banger
