    I really do think of Liz Johnson bowled full-time on the PBA 50 tour she could win a couple titles and she can definitely compete out there

      Liz Johnson is definitely one of the best of my generation. Her mental and physical game are among the best of all time, regardless of gender. 🏆

      I think if she would have bowled in the pba, she would have a title..before two handers Verity, Daria, Danielle Mc, and Diana Zavjalova all could have bowled in the pba and had titles. Two ways the sport could have progressed organically and we got two hands instead 😞 No I’m kidding about the two hands but do believe all those women can hang with the guys. Catch any one of em while there on and its over. Now we have two handers it’s a little different. Especially on your typical house shot in leagues, half of everybody is two handed now lol

      @@timothyboetger1146 She actually did get a title - I think it was the 2017 Chameleon Championship. And I could see her doing very well on the senior tour. Simple game, repeats shots, superb touch and nerves of steel.

    John Janawicz for the win! Besides being a great talent, I think his biggest advantage is not being tied down to a single line of balls. He has the freedom to throw Motiv, SPI and B7, and each brand has their advantages.

    I got one of the BVL Johnny Petraglia 2023 bowling balls. This ball is wonderfully versatile, and has a phenomenal continuation from the break point and through the pin deck. I tell people it's a lot like the Brunswick Ethos, but I think the BVL ball is more desirable. It can serve as a very reliable benchmark ball, too. I donated it to my local pro shop, because I thought I didn't have a spot in my arsenal for this ball. The ball didn't sell, so I drilled it for myself. And now I'm recommending it to my students. It's also one of the permanent balls in the bag. I bowled my first 300 with a Johnny Petraglia LT-48, as well as an 800 series. I expect the same from this ball, even though I'm 74 yrs. old now. That don't make no difference. I'm starting to bowl 2-handed. It's all fun!

    Just a note that if John J. had gotten 3 on the big split instead of zero, he would have had Mika shut out. Add nine to John's score and he has 204 instead of 195 and Mika's best was 203.

    Unpopular opinion: those wrist braces like Johnson wears should be illegal. It does half the work for you.

    • @ReifferMadness
      @ReifferMadness หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely not disagreeing with you, especially at this level of play. But as someone who wore a brace like that for several years and now does not wear it I can pretty confidently tell you it doesn't provide as much help as one might think...

    I have no problem with women competing on the mens side but in bowling the men should be able to bowl on the woman’s tour as well. If it’s good for one it’s good for the other especially in a game where there is some advantage with power and revs buts it’s not really going to make that big of a difference.

    • @cruise2023
      @cruise2023 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In a way fair comment, unfortunately women cannot compete against men, it's like any sport eg: tennis they don't have the stamina, speed etc. Sure you will find the odd women play against the men ( like Liz and Kelly ) but you won't find men playing against women, there would be an outcry! ( I think men would not be allowed to enter anyway ) like in tennis. Personally I wouldn't mind women entering the PBA or PBA50, would be good experience for them.

    VERY MUCH DISLIKE THE CLOSED CONCEPT OF THIS TYPE BOWLING. Almost all lack the others where you can see the crowd close-up bowl, bowling things of that nature. When we do not see it like this, we do not watch it. We like the other venues to watch the crowd, close-ups, etc. All of us are turning the channel.

      You got to look at it this way. Bud is putting out some serious money for the PBA to not only come to the bowling alley but to his house. That's the one thing a lot of people don't understand that these centres and these people and these sponsors put up a ton of money they don't have to for these events to happen. I think it's a pretty interesting change
