Just found you and i am binge watching. I have trouble finding that sweet spot . I rode a 400A in my 20s,it had a high and low gear, loved that bike, back in the 70s.work kids bills, now retired, house and bills paid off, kids here but working, dont see them much.doing a little fixing on the house.71 now,got a adv150 and a 5speed monkey.had some others but the older i get the smaller they get.practicing on the adv,my hands remember some things, but i am practicing my co ordination with figure8s,turns ,etc.my problem is finding that sweet spot on the monkey. I got it once! But need practice.its cold here now in Illinois, so i put them away till spring.but i did get 42miles in on the scooter. I will follow you and others to keep my confidence up.
I've got a bad habit as a new rider of slapping the front brake when I'm trying to leave a stop sign and see a car last minute. Dropped it twice now doing that. Going to practice in a lot just using the rear brake pretending to pull away from a stop sign and needing to stop. Will engrain it in my brain no front brake under 8mph!!!!
@@brimmed Hi. Thanks for watching. I suggest practicing the exercises smooth starts and stops and the slow ride. Once you have those skills mastered, you’ll feel more in control. Keep me posted!
I have the hardest time finding that sweet spot and staying there. I heard some people that are revving the bike as they stay in the friction zone. It sounds funny but it works. But you kept easy to understable!!
In NY traffic I use this ALL DAY long! Such an asset!
You must be the slow ride king!
