LOL. Jerks. Your video is awesome - super helpful. Thanks to this, I was successful in a) learning how to drill out rivets for the very first time and b) replacing my speaker. I did repurpose the cowling on the old speaker which, though seemingly challenging, ultimately saved me time, work, and quality. Now to keep practicing my soldering...
great video. one critique, always replace speakers in pairs. impedance differences can cause load balancing issues with the head units amp. also note if the new speaker is a much higher wattage you may notice distortion in the lower speaker before the new one. for example at say Vol 25 the old speaker may distort whereas the new one may take full Vol. Otherwise thanks for the video really helps a lot.
Thanks very much for this. I just replaced my speakers today, and you saved me whatever the cost of paying somebody would have been. So cheers for that!!
me too, every time I work inside car door panel or assemble my own desk top computer from scratch, I will bleed at some point no matter how I slow down the pace. Thanks for the video though, I was thinking to replace my car speakers and I was wondering do I need to save the original speaker mount for the connector and a better seal.
You can also leave the adapters in and cut the seakers out when they are still installed in the door. Will save some time and effort. This video is for a kia sportage. th-cam.com/video/MNE_YgcFsZE/w-d-xo.html
@@carlosbaker8284 the right way to do it, is with speakers adapters...the sound coming from the speakers have to go 100% inside the car cabin, not all over inside the door panels...
I don't understand these people. My Kia soul sound perfect.2012 and is perfect. Why people complain so much in this world. There are Millions of people that don't have cars, don't have any music, any speaker, and some no even air-conditioner.
Are you just a unhappy person feller? His speakers are acting up. Mine pops and cracks in front passenger door and if I turn up even a little bit it sounds like garbage. That's why people replace them.

Good video. I just bought a Kia Soul, and the user car dealer is trying to say the speakers are fine. You helped me a lot. Thank you!

You totally helped me out replacing speakers on my daughter's Sportage. I was about the wave the white flag.
Thanks for the video! Got the same Kia and also live in the Orlando area. Side project for the wife’s car. Blown speaker in the backseat door.

Nice fix for free, not counting the phone screen. Great DIY vid!
Thanks you for posting this video, was helpful for me to know how to replace the speakers of my new 2022 Kia Soul X-Line.
Bro where have you been g? I hope you’re doing well. I miss your channel.
i wish you could show how to take off the entire metal piece so we can fix the window lol
Nice! I enjoyed the video. Now I know what to expect when I replace mine. Thank you!
Sorry for your loss 😓

Hey bro where have you been? I still have the car sick sticker. Come back
What model is the speakers 🔊
I think they used rivets so they don't vibrate loose.
Thanks. Was thinking of doing the same and this has served as a good heads up of what im getting into.
Just shows you when you have the right tools anything is possible. Good job. But a new screen just blew the free speakers cost. Lol.
Nice Mr Deeds reference at 1:35
The one I switched somehow grew mold on it
Man, as much time as it took; you could have just bought 4 aftermarket speaker adapters with adapter harnesses for like $40. Time is money.
I was replacing the glass. But thanks for pointing out the sneaky screws lmao
Pro tip. Always put your screen against your leg in your pocket. Always,
What size are the speakers?
6.5- 6½ suggested. With adapter 6.75 -6¾ will fit... without adapter

Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
man that sucks that you broke your screen thats why i always put my screen down against my leg cause ive done that so many times
The speakers should have come with clips to screw into so you do not have to use big screws to screw into the sheet metal.
RIP phone screen. Model year of the Soul?
Looks like a 2013
I’m guessing 2012. 2013 has different tail lights.
Thanks bro 😎
Hi, Pam.
RIP phone screen 😢 Let me know how to pay you for some of those stickers.
Nice DIY :)

Oh and the six dislikes must be from sad lil trolls that came out from under their bridge for too long 🤣
What size is the speaker installed?
