I like seeing them restored to as-new, a rusty, scratched toy is good for nothing but sitting on a shelf gathering dust and having old people look at it. I remember those miniature coca-cola bottles. In the 1970’s, when I was a kid and collected antique and collectible miniatures, I had one but I didn’t know it was for this truck.
The ones for this truck are huge compared to the case of miniature bottles of Coke my grandmother had. The original original formula too. She would allow each of her grandchildren to have one bottle when they came to spend the weekend. She told me she saved that case so that she could let her grandchildren know what the original Coke tasted like. The memory has faded much (I'm 65 now), but as I recall it, no Coke formula since then has the same taste. For those who don't know, I'm talking about the original formula that used Cocaine instead of caffeine. The bottles were about 1/5 the size of the bottles on this truck.
@@asarand cocaine was removed from Coca Cola in 1929 so you were not tasting Coca Cola with cocaine unless you were drinking some VERY old stale soda! The difference in the original flavor and the recipe today is the pure cane sugar. Coke today does not taste as good as the original since they started replacing cane sugar with high fructose corn syrup in 1984. I’m sure that is what you remember about that original Coca Cola you drank as a boy.

I can GUARANTEE you, this truck would easily sell for $500-$1000. In the condition he had it before, maybe $100. Original is cool and wanted, but this mans skill is so good and close to the original using genuine handmade parts, that it doesn't matter that it's been restored, because it's authentic.

I love all the tow trucks that you use, being a former tow operator it's cool to see, and I did see what looked like a white dodge tow truck just waiting to be done in the first few seconds of the video during and after the tow truck picked up the coke truck, and I also noticed another coke truck
