Not only did this dude restore this firetruck to such a beautiful state it looked newer than any firetruck mint in box, but he actually went out and bought a mini tonka hose connector in the shape of a fire hydrant, lit some pop cycle sticks on fire and put it out, with a TONKA TRUCK. Tonka actually made a fully functional fire truck. I’m speechless.
@John Smitty wish they did I had one from my uncle had one I still have it but I looks like this but with all parts sadly the hose has cracked and in two bits yet i was boorn in 20002

ME. ME. I WANT IT. I WANNA PLAY WITH IT.
Very honest and true for me also. I have asked about purchasing one of his restorations and he said he has not sold any yet, but would consider it in the future.
Thanks for your videos Doug in Ga another beautiful job thanks for sharing your talents
301th like, and it's valid for me too... at least having it in a nice shelf 😊

Love when people restore old stuff like this, back when it was made out of real metal and steel, now it’s just flimsy plastic, that truck will be ready for another 100 years!
Real metal and steel??
Well you know what I mean, back when toys were made out of good solid materials, not today’s plastic and stuff
My first thought. Yea he put out another video. My expectations on your videos is quite high. You never disappoint.
I loved the way you brought the fire truck in on a tow truck...nice touch
This channel is therapeutic ❤️🧘🏽♀️
They just don’t make stuff of this quality anymore. It’s all cheap plastic stuff. This warmed my heart, and the last little scene was the cherry on top.

this reminds me of that really satisfying scene in toy story
Inkbred Which scene?
When they fix Woody in toy story 2

What I enjoy aside from the incredible restoration projects is no annoying background music, its just you working on the project. I'm a big fun.
Hands down the best restoration on a old Tonka ive ever seen.
Amazing restoration!
Now if only it... IT USES WATER?!!!
I'm a gambling man, so I bet that by the end of the video, the truck will be restored!
I honestly thought he couldn't do it, But it was a close one he did it! haha
Remind me to never bet against you. Damn you are good! Lol.
If I was a gambler I'd bet he'd put out a fire at the end 👩🚒🚒🔥

I'm the new one here.
That's what you doing with these toys are amazing. I can't stop watching your videos.
I need doing the same with my life. I need to repair it....
But don't have Sandblast... 😂😐
😂
Dawid Pietrzak Get one. They’re like $100 Harbor Freight. Of course, that aluminum oxide, air compressor, etc. That stuff will add up. But you can get all of that at HF. I meant to say, however, that aluminum oxide is pricey.
Imagine get paid to sandblast things
Edit: i think those tonka toys become better than the originals lmao
Rodrigo Pizani agreed😇
Not only did this dude restore this firetruck to such a beautiful state it looked newer than any firetruck mint in box, but he actually went out and bought a mini tonka hose connector in the shape of a fire hydrant, lit some pop cycle sticks on fire and put it out, with a TONKA TRUCK. Tonka actually made a fully functional fire truck. I’m speechless.
Rescue: how many parts have that toy?
Tonka: YES

Can already tell this is gonna turn out well!
I was right LOL!
I really enjoy watching those videos. They’re very satisfying.
What a wonderful work! My anxiety calms down when I see your videos, Thank you!
I really hope you enjoy your work
Finally, we missed you.
Imagine someone 70 years from now trying to restore stuff from our current time? Everything is so cheaply made now that there would be nothing left to restore.

Tonka Toys are amazing!👍🏻 My last restoration was a $400+ Tonka Ramp Hoist 🛠
Or anything that we'd WANT to restore...
My 2 year old is scare of the creepy clown restoration. This is awesome when I need some me time.
I'm 48 and I'm scared of the creepy clown...
I'm 70 and the creepy clown gave me the heebie-jeebies.
You are truly a master at giving new life to these worn down items. As a retired firefighter watching this video did my heart good. Amazing job. Please keep the videos coming.
Beautiful job on this one... I can smell the pages of the '69 Sears&Roebuck Christmas Wish Book all the way from here.
🎄🤙
That transformation was awesome..
Bringing in with the tow truck then at the end shutting that fire off was nice..
The restoration you did on that truck look like it came out the box..great job on that truck..
Also like that you made your own parts to the truck and polished them like if they were just made..
Great tools like you have its what make the restoration look great..
The fact that it actually worked made it all the more satisfying.
I didn't expect the hoses to work. That was awesome.
Why are these restore videos so satisfying to watch!?
Imagine how many fires the kid who originally owned this put out in its day.
Since the toy can not speak. It probably says: Thanks a lot for bringing me back to life! You don’t know how much this means to me! I really want to express how happy I am! Thank you sooooo much!
