As someone who has collected old antique items all my life (I’m 33 now), I take so much pride in giving them new life and will continue to cherish these items until I pass away. Then hopefully someone else will love them the way I did and pass them down and so on. ❤️ Thank you for giving an old rusty piece of metal- a new chance at life. I’m glad people still care about old toys like I do 🥰
@William Johnson well, honestly, that is how I got into fixing clocks. Pictures after taking away every single piece. Indeed, after some time, you develop a natural intuition around how things go back, but before that, just taking apart and putting back works with photos. Restoring damaged parts is a totally different topic though.

It's amazing how a heavy coat of rust makes an object look unsalvageable. But when the rust is removed, the object looks repairable. And your methods certainly are very effective. Most impressive.

Always💜 the stoys they would tell☺
Usually they are "prepared". As in left in a very moist environment for a long time, tires pulled apart, etc.
I don’t think there’s stories behind all his restorations he destroys them and leaves it outside for mouths lol until it gets rusty
That toy farerre he fixed seem to have went through a fire at some point considering the chair he had to fixed with clay looked melted and blackened
