Personally, the Omnitool could have been an exotic ornament for No Back Up Plans and I wouldn't have even been mad. Kind of weird they put it on the left arm when it's usually on the right arm, and it would have been cool to seen the blade show up when you melee as a Titan with it.
Blade animation could be cool. Liar's Handshake has a unique melee animation.
It's usually because gaurdians shoot with their right hand, so you wouldn't see it much in first person. Take a look at the arm pieces and 95 chances out of 100, the left arm is more decorated so you can see it more in first person
I assumed that there would be one... But then there wasn't... And I was sad.

@@thunderwolf_94 Yeah I have seen it but I kind of wish there was something officially produced with more pre written content. Im a fledgling DM so trying to conjure up a campaign and learning how to run it for my players efficiently is still a little taxing.
OOH DND CLASS THEMED EXOTICS, like for
Warlocks:they get wild magic gauntlets, which allow their grenades to do 1 to 20 random effects or Eldritch gauntlets which replaces their powered melee with is eldtrich blast.
Hunters: they get fighters pants which allow them to do an extra powered melee or grenades after dodging. Or Ranger quiver pants which gives some buff to bows.
Titans: Paladin chest plate which by collecting orbs of power their next melee is powered up, or Barbarian gauntlets by chaining melee kills they get bonus Resilience.
Incase you can't tell each class gets 2 dnd class themed exotics. Warlocks get Sorcerer (technically wild mgaic surges are 1 to 100 but that be hard) and well Warlocks (joke wrote itself!) Hunters gets figherts and rangers and titans gets paladins and barbarians

I actually think it would've been cool if ghey added in one mass effect weapon! Either the avenger the staple mass effect ar, or the baterian sniper from ME3! This was a charged up sniper that if you held down the trigger it would charge up and fire out a harpoon! Perhaps this harpoon in deetiny could've done anti barrier rounds snd the target could get burnt and could go through multiple targets making it decent st crowd control! (I just came up with that stuff, so if it sounds bad im sorry)

Yeah it would be cool to see something similar to the 30th anniversary with guns similar to the other franchises in the game.
Nah, the Carnifex is perfect as is has a similar ROF to hand cannons and hits like a demon on a bad day
Hearing the Star Wolf Assault theme made me want an Arwing and Wolfen jumpship. That would get me back into the game.
I remember playing starfox on the GameCube and man that song sent me flying. Imma go look for a 3d model and scale figure of Wolfs ship now cheers 🥂
I want a warhammer 40K crossover so badly. I just think you could do so much with it. If you wanted to focus on the Imperium which I figure they would then titans could be space marines, hunters could be tech priests, and warlocks could be inquisitors. If they wanted to focus on the zenos then titans could be orks, hunters could be the tau, and warlocks could be either the necrons or the eldar. When it comes to exotics they could obviously make the bolter an a heavy auto rifle that shoots micro missiles, they could instead make a custodian glaive, or go all out and give us the emperors sword that is currently being wielded by the primarch Roboute Guilliman. Honestly the possibilities are endless.

Its would have been bad ass to get a exotic trace rifle that was bustin ghosts themed.... dont cross the beam font. The more people who used it the stronger it gets. Lol that would have been dope af!!
Well, we do have the Proton torch arbalest ornament.
Feel like an exotic weapon from a cross over would be cool as well for instance a trace rifle inspired by ghost busters that if you kill x amount of enemies it then splits the beam that tracks multiple enemies for a set amount of time it would also be stasis because ghosts and cold are usually synonymous with each other
Imagine a crossover with the castlevania show. You go to Styria, Carmilla’s castle do alternate versions of onslaught, mini raid activities, puzzle solving, getting free armour ornaments inspired by the Court of sisters clothing like Carmilla’s red butterfly dress, Striga’s armour, and Morana and Lenore’s outfits. Even get new weapons exclusively on par with adapt raid loot and even normal raid weapons as a regular drop because of the multitude of modes you’ll be doing. An event that promotes the shows much needed additional popularity and gives new players a taste of raid loot even if it’s bad rolls.
Maybe you would get a different anti-champion type based on the ability you use. Like class ability for anti-barrier, melee for anti-unstoppable, or grenade for anti-overload.

Gotta admit tho, that Ecto-1 ship looks sick. Also the exotic idea sounds really useful tbh, would give people a reason to have at least one of each class on a team.
Exotic witcher sword(s) Kinetic/Solar
Hold reload to swap between the steel and silver swords.
(When you swap to the exotic it will be sheathed, hitting the attack button will automatically pull out the most effective sword for the combatant you lunge towards)
Steel does bonus damage to minors and smaller foes. ( fallen, psions, warbeasts )
Silver does bonus damage to bosses and larger/monstrous foes (including champions)
It would be interesting to work into it the different "spells" that geralt can cast. But it already sounds perhaps too ambitious already...
What if while the exotic is in your hands it changes your grenade?
Or maybe the heavy attack becomes combo-able and ends with one of the signs?
Or just outright uses one of them?
Perhaps based on subclass/equipped super element?
Like I could see Igni being a strong short ranged either instant ignite or scorches the foe a bunch!
I feel like you could make pretty much all of the signs work in destiny.
The magic trap could slow and suppress (maybe weaken too/instead) foes.

When the halo crossover happened, we kind of got it. I’m referring to the 30 anniversary bundle.
Not even a mention of the Tsushima set?? It has a Katana. Thats an easy crossover weapon.

I still think a Borderlands fashion crossover would be amazing. Warlocks get a siren skin, hunters probably Zer0, Titans could get a Mr. Torgue or Brick fit.

We already have that with the warlock boots. Your rift makes your weapons disrupt overloads.
As cool as that would be, that would make it a pay to win. Before anyone says "BuT pAy To WiN oNlY aPpLiEs To pVp", not in Destiny. If it makes the combat in PvE easier, the rewards can be earned faster. If they have the reward before anyone else, they have an advantage in any other scenario.
Making the armor exotics is a terrible idea unless they're gunna be free.

Ratchet and Clank weapons would absolutely fuck. Imagine spawning a tornado or controlling an RC rocket powered missile.

I'd have loved an Omni tool gauntlet! But honestly guns are easier since everyone can use guns, so having either the iconic Avenger rifle or even the community adored Mattock as a Scout would have been cool.
Theres actually a really good reason we dont get collabs effecting game play as with most coĺlabs its a revenue spilt so you either spilt the revenue from a period like a lot of mobile games do or item sold. If there was to be an exotic for a collab, it would be a limited time obtainable thing or a pay to win exotic.
The Ratchet and Clank crossovee got screwed... I wanted a wrench type sword weapon

There should be more exotics that the classes share. Aeon is one of my favorites in the game just for their versatility. I had an idea for some that would boost diferent element weapons when using your subclass element, like giving jolt to arc weapons when getting kills with your solar melee or something. Stuff like that is an easy way to make something suitable for both pvp and pve.
You may not like the Ghostbusters crossover but I love Ghostbusters personally I grew up with it, I would love to see them turn the proton packs into something like a trace rifle, maybe give it a special perk where after killing an enemy while you're grenade energy is regenerating you get a turret, kind of referencing how they would throw out the ghost trap and capture spirits, only difference is these spirits turn to turret's, I don't think many people in PvP would use it but I think it would be adored in PVE
Exotic Witcher sword concept
“Fated encounter”
Ammo type: Special (yes you can have two swords, like the Witcher)
Intrinsic perk “Silver lined edge”: this weapon was made to kill monsters and monsters only (this sword deals less damage to red bars, but significant more damage to yellow bars, supers and taken/hive)
Second exotic perk “master of mirrors”: blocking with this sword allows the user to absorb the damage dealt to the user
Catalyst “Witcher method”: welding this sword increases ability regeneration

I always wanted a crossover with doctor who.
Like the doctor accidentally getting in the destiny universe leaving a hole in the reality so also the cyberman and daleks that the 10th doctor get rid off arrive in the destiny universe.
Also there could be variants daleks and cybermen! Like taken daleks or modified by the siva!
Also i have been thinking on a dungeon getting in the deeps of the tardis trying to clean it from enemies and at the end the tardis gives to the guardians a sonic screwdriver.
The sonic screwdriver would be a weapon not made to kill, it could pop off enemies and champions shields, revive allies from a long distances, etc...
Maybe i could make a fanfic out of it...
How cool would it be, for there to be a crossover between cod zombies and d2? Imagine wonder weapons colliding along with exotic weapons or gobble gums have exclusive exotic armor based around them. Or imagine having a legit ray gun sunshot ornament that also changes the effects of it
This would be a great idea it fits into the Mass Effect lore too because of all different round types you carry with you.

I agree. Since to equip an exotic you have to remove a piece of the set they should make 1 piece either a cosmetic for an exotic or an all new exotic to match. The Assassins creed crossover could have augumented the characters melee based on which class. Replacing the melee attack with the corresponding hidden blade or signature weapon and augmenting properties. E.g. Warlock either gets Altiir's sword or hidden blade (sword could have an AOE slash effect or the Hidden blade could make it a piercing projectile with a set range to keep with the warlock stuff (essentially a warlock using the gear as a focal point for their subclass element). Titan could have a savage haymaker with Eivor's hiddenblade or pulling out an axe for a swing. And hunter could use Alexios's spear or hidden blade. That would have been cool. Or it could change up a specific ult slightly like replacing the Dawnbalde, sentinel shield and arcstaff into equipment from said gamea and adjusting what they do.
In the same vein the Mass effect stuff could change arc titan melees into omniblade changing the range and attack pproperties, void warlock into asari biotics (making novabomb act like singularity), and changing the hunter golden gun into Garrus' sniper rifle for 1 shot (diffrent properties from the nighthawk).
Yeah some of these would be a bit pay to win so i could also see getting a pre existing exotic that matches the theme and giving it a skin that makes it match the set.
I could also see the exotics being something similar to the class exotics in D1 no real practical effect and make them useable with another exotic. Using those cosmetic stuff I listed before (like the void shield into eivor shield) but not giving them special properties.
We. All. Need. DOOM Marines. Boomstick. Either as an Ornament for Conditional Finality or as a functional weapon
Secant filaments already give empowered rift overload rounds so maybe swap the barrier and overload for dodge and rift
this would definitely be awesome if the anti-champ bonus changed based on your subclass and the anti champ effect its gave correlated to whatever effect is least accessible to your kit.
For example solar has built in unstop and and barrier, so what if it gave overload. Arc has unstop and overload so what it gave barrier
void has overload and barrier so what if it gave unstop
The put ur class ability down and as long a u stand in it u get overload for the warlock boots that give u devour on a empty rift placing as long as ur on void but for all sub classes it gives u overload rounds but I also agree this would be great

I honestly want an exotic helm for the hunter that looks like a wolf head, either calling it wolf's bane or Luna's Crown the exotic perk name would be the hunt ( it would summon 3-4 wolf shaped straned buddies they would charge at enemies only slightly faster then the normal ones, if hit they would do about 5-8k with a weakness effect as long as atleast 2 connect with the same target if used while not around enemies or they don't make contact with enemies the wolves will turn into straned orbs reducing the cool down (which is about 15 seconds on hit and 5 seconds if you collect the ords) just a food for thought
Halo crossover got an exotic weapon and a legendary as well as armor. Would be cool if they kept up with that

The exorcist should be ability based, class item gives all weapons unstoppable rounds, powered melee grants overloading, grenade grants antibarrier
I'd love to see a crossover with borderlands, I feel like even if it's just cosmetics there is some amazing potential there. The psycho mask for example would be great

As much as I would love this I think the reason they won’t do something like this is because people would call it pay to win, unless they did a huge event where players can earn them or straight up buy, or these type of exotic are PVE only or they are the same exotic perks of already own exotic and thaf they come into the store once in a while

I’m thinking if there’s a Cyberpunk crossover, there could be an exotic modeled after the Malorian Arms 3516. The melee attack if stacked up to 10 kills and rounds stun barrier champions.

Imagine an exotic bow from Horizon Zero Dawn with three different types of elements and can shoot three arrows. Or exotic armor beef up your shield like the strongest armor in HZD. Then actual blades of chaos for Titans
Exotic armor would have been sick if it applied special Mass Effect Animations. Cant think of a Titan one. But the Omni blade melee would work with hunters as its basically knife melee. Warlocks could have gotten the a Bio-type melee.

I would like this mostly because I would love that once they do ff7 (if they ever do it in the first place) I'd love to get the buster sword as an actual weapon not just chest plate back bling.
Or make it have an emp effect, (anything your grenade hits nulls the player of abilities and ults for 15 secs, also cancel active ults upon hit)
brs (black rock shooter) collab would bring me back to this game if warlock was the one to get the rock cannon or have it be a skin for 1k voices

D2 could get something like the SDMG, and terraria could get something like the thunderlord (both we fit well in the other game)

The colour of death
kills or consistent damage to combatants with this weapon grants stacks of blood. These stacks grant lowered recoil, greatly increase handling and slightly increase increase fire rate.
Exotic trait;
Sacrifice
Shooting allies replenishes all of their health and grants them an over shield at the cost of 1 stack of blood.

50 stability
82 handling
57 reload speed
13 aim assist
40 airborne effectiveness

and hear me out okay I know I changed it to an auto rifle but we don't have that many fast firing exotic auto rifles and the archetype works with the perks I made increased fire rate, recoil control and all.

One major problem, FOMO. It’s bad enough as it is but add actual usable rewards that could maybe even be meta defining down the line and fomo becomes a major problem and likely promote stuff like “have X exotic or kick” in the event the exotic does become meta and you cannot get it anymore

I still think if Destiny did a Star Wars crossover that would be a cool way to not only add armor into the game, but also a way to add new weapons given Star Wars has such a large collection of blasters to choose from.
