Hey Dale! I definitely recommend the Elite Gourmet stainless steel egg cooker for the easiest hard boiled/poached eggs. I received one as a gift and use it almost every day. All you do is fill the provided measuring cup to soft, medium or hard depending on your preference and add that water as well as the desired number of raw eggs. Turn the button on and it buzzes when it's done. From there I put the eggs in a bowl of ice water and every single time the shells peel right off. Hopefully with some sort of oil or butter though you'll have a less sticky experience with these silicone cookers. Have a great weekend!

Dale Calder good to know. I've bought silicone rings, for eggs or batter. Well, let's just say they are in the cubbard, sitting. It was an epic mess with batter.

Dale, interesting egg gadget. I have open silicone poached egg baskets that have a hook. You put on the pan's edge and they gently poach.... Works like a dream! But forgot where I bought them.

I bought a package of paper pouches on Amazon for cooking eggs. The same concept except I have to crack the eggs into a dish first and then pour them into the pouch. I wonder if cooling them longer in the silicone cups would mean they’d come out easier. That wouldn’t be good if you were wanting to serve them hot though.

The secret to boiling the perfect egg is to make sure THE WATER IS BOILING THEN YOU PUT YOUR EGGS IN THE BOILING WATER. IT WORKS 100 PERCENT OF THE TIME EVEN IF YOUR AN AMATEUR.
