      @@ipfocusx2646 oh defo maths then because physics is worse since you will have to memorise lots of stuff, buuuuuut you are better off taking psychology as a third since a lot of people told me they got an A with minimal effort. It’s up to u tho but I would 100% recommend not taking physics as a third because bio and chem have a lot of stuff to memorise so no need to make it worse by adding a similar third and in the end if med is what you are planning to do then your third doesn’t really matter

    • @joshy4942
      @joshy4942 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no idea about medicine, quite honestly I don't think it matters, but most of the mechanics content is covered in physics (you're not required to differentiate or integrate in physics whereas you do with maths) so I'd just say pick the one you like the look of. Obviously it'll be easier doing mechanics and personally I don't think anyone actually enjoys stats.

      Yeah if you think you can get an A in RE and as long as the Med schools you’re applying to don’t require 3 academic subjects like maths/physics/further maths then you should be good

    Hi,
    Any advice on volunteering in the current climate. I can’t really find much due to COVID :/

    • @TahaButt
      @TahaButt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If none is available then don’t worry medical schools will understand. There may be other volunteering stuff though like writing letters to nhs workers, there you can gain an insight to what the life of a healthcare professional is like and also show your support. I think there’s a scheme you can sign up to for that.

    i want to take 4 AS levels and maybe drop one after year 12 - chem, bio, maths and psychology. Is it a good choice for a UCL aspirant??

    I took physics, chemistry, biology, and psychology and want to study at Cambridge, should I change psychology to maths? I'm also told that if i don't take maths I will struggle in psychology

      So I think Cambridge prefer maths and science subjects, check out the links in my description.
      Also I don’t think maths is linked to psychology that much?

    So u are basically saying taking Maths bio and chem is very very tough when applying to medicine??😱😱

    • @TahaButt
      @TahaButt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me Maths was very tough and I got an A* at further maths and maths at GCSE. If there’s another subject that you like more or that you think would be an easier Subject to get an A and that is also accepted as an A level by med schools then take that over maths. And take bio and chem.
