Love being inside a mosque in Malaysia mashallah.
Pls go to putrajaya, there are 2 beautiful mosques there, trust me u will mind blown…
The Malaysian National Mosque was built in 1965 and used to be the biggest in Malaysia. I think the Sultan Salahuddin mosque in nearby Shah Alam is currently the biggest
Downtown KL:
- KLCC Park mosque
- Jamek + Indian mosques (walking distance)
- Wilayah mosque
Outside KL:
- Shah Alam mosque
- Putrajaya mosque

Welcome to Malaysia truly Asia.. Islam is our Official religion and majority muslim here with multicultural too. ❤
You should visit the pink mosque and the Iron mosque at Putrajaya which is the administrative centre. There's a new Lrt or Mrt line going directly to Putrajaya from KL central.
next time
Just to share with the uniqueness of the National Mosque architecture: It was built in 1965, barely a few years after the country gained independence. At that time, there was a big debate on who we are as a country and society, and a big chunk of it was the architectural identity.
So when they designed the mosque, they wanted something that represents the multicultural Malaysia, acknowledging its heritage as well as moving forward as freshly minted country. That's why they did not utilize a dome which is typically associated with middle-eastern architecture.
The folded plate design was used instead to give the mosque its own unique identity, progressive and iconic. This has spawned more mosques that do not use domes and arches all over Malaysia. You can also see this movement in Indonesia too.
Thank you for this
My two sons and their teams were doing the rehabilitation of the NM roofing system recently. I'm so proud of them all able to complete the construction before Ramadan. I always prayed for the fitters that were able to do the job. God bless the users. Ameen
Mashallah

Welcome to Malaysia my brother❣️
National Mosque of Malaysia was built on the former site of a Church, The Venning Road Brethren Gospel Hall which was acquired by the Government in 1961.
PNB 118 building looks semi-invicble building during the day
Easily the most beautiful building in Malaysia. Spot on interpretation of Islamic architecture. Shows Islam transcends cultural boundaries.
Awesome MashaAllah
I have been to KL 5 times mainly as 2-3 day stopovers to get to other parts of Malaysia (I'm Muslim from the UK), and visited KL Mosque every time but there are other mosques to visit around the city like Jamek Mosque and Wilayat Mosque. Also worth visiting Puta Mosque and Steel/Iron Mosque in Putrajaya too.
If you do travel parts of Malaysia, I would recommend a visit to Melaka and see the Melaka Strait Mosque by the sea and also a visit to Kuala Terengganu to see the stunning Crystal Mosque too. Langkawi also has a few nice mosques too
Hi.. thank you for the blog on your visit to the National Mosque. It was beautiful. Sadly I have only seen the outside of it ( tho I am a Malaysian ). One of the features that I truly like is its unique architecture ( not the usual dome shaped structure which is generally seen ). Once again thank you. Hope you have a wonderful time in Malaysia.
Welcome to malaysia, You are impress with this masjid. Wait till you see all the famous one....lol. By the way if you are into chines food. Be alert most of the shops are non halal. But there are some which is halal. YOu can just simply ask them.
After this you can visit Chinese architecture mosque , there are quite a few in Malaysia
Assalamualaikum brother. It seemed you visited the masjid for some time now. The roof repair works were completed now and they are back in the original blue colour theme.
salam, there's a huge park just behind the mosque, Perdana Botanical Garden, worth visiting it, just right after u passed the exit gate of the mosque u will see the small street going up hill, or u just turn right and walk along the road u'll find that massive park, pls explore.
Nice to see you mesmerising the beauty of national mosque aka Masjid Negara. Would love to see you visit other beautiful mosques here like Masjid Putra(pink mosque) at Putrajaya. Also if you want to experience local halal foods culture I recommend you go to Kampung Baru, local Malay hotspot in KL 👌

Honking in other countries may be interpreted as "let me trough or thank you or what you doin" but here in Malaysia honking is wether "yoo.. You wanna piece of me or f idiot, move already or move out off the way or we fight". As Malaysian we hate rowdyness. Its already hot so dont be to loud. We love laid back. Just chill.
❤❤❤
🥰🎉❤️
With my greatest will I have been telling you to be careful with food. It's not a joke. Insallah Massallah

As beautiful as it is.. its kinda overrated as in tourist attraction, theres plenty more magnificent mosque that somehow hidden from tourists, which is more magnificent in architectural sense.. (not in order) which is not that far from kl, theres more but these 3 are unique on its own way
1.The Federal Territory Mosque (visit at night, the atmosphere is magical) go for magrib
2. Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque aka The Iron mosque (day to visit the gardens, night its a totally different atmosphere) 70% of which is made from steel, modern
3. Putra Mosque aka the pink mosque in putra jaya (constructed with rose-tinted granite, visit at day time)
never overated when its a mosque brother
@@WalidsJourney true that
Bro stop worrying about McDonald's. Malaysia have the best food to enjoy, McDonald's is like in the lower bracket of food here. Focus on the local food.
It’s different so that’s why we try
Our McD is halal. 😊
