I do understand her. If you grow up in a western country around people who aren't Muslim, it's harder to be a good Muslim when you get older. It requires more strength and dedication compared to if you already grew up in an Islamic environment.

I come from muslim majority country and when I went to Thailand to have a vacation, it felt really hard even to just find Halal food, mosques to pray 5 times a day etc. So it must be very hard to be a good muslim for those who grow up there. But congratulation, if you are success to become a good muslim there, your reward from Allah must be bigger than people that live in islamic environment

She may not be the best role model for muslim. However Allah is the Most Merciful when it comes to judgement how He wills. If she dies today who knows maybe her intention is good enough for her Creator. We should never dismiss someone who has good intention & trying to repair his/her deen. May Allah help her.

I'm also a half Palestinian, half dutch girl and I was brought up among Muslim Arabs. The culture is beautiful and the people around us were kind and warm, it's a huge difference to my cold Dutch relatives.

I don't think it does matter if you grow up in an Islamic environment or an unIslamic environment. Recently in a lecture, this is what Nouman Ali Khan taught us. He gave the example of Ibrahim AS, he was a 'One Man Ummah' himself. He grew up in an extreme shirk environment yet he was of the strongest believers of Allah so far. There are people I have seen, who's family are religious yet they are not. And we Muslims believe in 'Allah guides whomever he wills and misguides...."

I'm not here to judge anyone. I'm here on Earth to live my life in the best possible way. Judging others is out of that scope.
Ever been on a balance beam? If not, imagine you're walking on a 2x4, your eyes are not gonna waver off of that 2x4 and they're gonna stay right on the spot where your next step is gonna be.
Using that analogy, I love my life. I don't judge others because:
(1) it's none of my business
(2) who am I to judge?
(3) it's God's job to judge and not mine.
(4) and that ain't happening until Judgement Day
(5) None of us make it to heaven by our own deeds but by God's magnanimity and Grace
(6) I gotta keep my eyes on my own 2x4 and keep myself balanced.

I find it very strange and amusing that Hindus even come to a purely innocent Muslim Islamic channel like this to come and spread hate and make toxic remarks. They should know about karma, wishing bad for others and trying to dig holes for others at some point will come back to you. My message to you is peace and prosperity. You have an ancient civilization with many teachings do not pollute and destroy it with hate and resentment for whatever reason you may have.

I do understand her. If you grow up in a western country around people who aren't Muslim, it's harder to be a good Muslim when you get older. It requires more strength and dedication compared to if you already grew up in an Islamic environment.
