Also known as the Seed Stitch, that is how I learned this stitch, as the seed stitch, but like a lot of stitches, some have more names than just one. Thank you for sharing.❤❤😊
I love this stitch. You should design a dishcloth with this pattern. You do a wonderful job describing how to make stitches. Your vidoos are awesome. :)
There are those who say you MUST use an EVEN number of stitches, and you say an ODD number of stitches may be used. If you use an EVEN number of stitches - you will always begin the row with a 'single crochet' (then alternate across row with SC-DC-SC-DC, etc.) then the row will always end with a DC stitch. The second row will again begin with a SC, and end with a DC. ***Now, if you use an ODD number of stitches in your work, you can either begin the row with a SC or a DC, (and alternate stitches across the row) but you will also END the row with the same stitch type you began the row with. ***The ROW 2 will begin with the opposite stitch you began ROW 1 with, and you will end the second row with that same stitch. ***The ROW 3 will again begin with the same stitch you began Row 1 with, and end with that same stitch. Every odd row will begin with the opposite type of stitch you began the previous row with when using an ODD number of stitches - and the row will end with the same type of stitch you began that row with. ~~ I found this helpful to know because at times I want to mix different types of stitches together in a piece, and some stitch patterns require ODD or EVEN number of stitches. If I wish to combine the different stitch with the Lemon Peel Stitch, I can either use an ODD number or EVEN number of stitches the it will still work out fine!
Hi Jennifer. It was great to see you! Very pretty stitch! I have to ask, where is your beautiful diamond ring? I miss seeing it in your videos! Thanks for another great tutorial! Happy Friday!❤

On the second row do you alternate singe on double crochets Or you stack single crochet on single crochet Could you specify You just call them stitches you don’t say if it’s on the single or double crochet

@@fiberfluxOh that’s good to hear! It’s so pretty! Mine are being polished and dipped so I’m ringless at the moment, lol!😀
@@theastewart6721 We can be ringless together for a bit!! 😆💜
@@fiberflux Sounds good!!😁
Have made a blanket using this stitch
Love that!

Could you specify
You just call them stitches you don’t say if it’s on the single or double crochet
I'm making a baby blanket with this stitch now and I agree, it is a beautiful stitch.
Please could you recommend a border to use?
I think a simple single crochet would be lovely or a sweet scallop too!
@@fiberflux, thank you 😊
Could you use double knitting yarn and size hook.
Just have alot of double yarn.
🎉
You can definitely use any weight yarn for this stitch! For the hook, I would go with the hook recommendation on the yarn label. Hope that helps! 😊
@@fiberflux Thank you for the quick reply... Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow

So good to see your beautiful face Jennifer 😢
Aww thanks for your sweet words! Nice to see you too here in the comments! 💕
Excuse me ma'am..
Isn't this also known as the houndstooth stitch?
Very pretty stitch, great for a baby blanket which I will be getting to make. Just waiting for the sex of the baby. How would it look using 2 colors?
I think it would look fabulous with two colors!
Would love to see how this stitch looks with two colors! Please share when finished. Thank you. Stay well.
