I can't believe it. Substance like this hidden in an archival tomb while everywhere abounds weak music cloaked in aggression.

'They took their last ride into eternity on some snowbound freight train' Just magnificent.

The was never and never again will there be a better storyteller than Johnny Cash. He left us with enough great music to last us 10 lifetimes.

My grandfather used to work for a dollar a day when he could find work. One year he bought all his nine children their Christmas gifts with one days pay.

Amazing what Americans would do to find work during the depression. My grandma told me lots of stories of men that would come up on her property and work for food and a place to sleep. Can't imagine how Johnny Cash's dad would have felt riding through the freezing cold on top of a boxcar for the hope of earning a little to take care of his family. Love the way Johnny Cash tells a story and miss him..

What a presence Cash had in front of a camera and listeners. No mistaking his voice, when either singing or speaking, for anybody else's.
