I’ve been debating doing my Audi. I always see plastidip being used on somewhat cheaper cars that already use that cheap matte plastic for some pieces. So it works well blending in with those. Always wondered how it would look along with the glossy black pieces in nicer vehicles if that makes sense. It actually looks really good and doesn’t make the car look cheaper or “ricey” looking. Looks good 👍🏼
Thanks! I'd say give it a shot. I think it looks as good as stock. Pretty sure some of the more scrupulous shops out there do this same process anyways so it's hard to tell. Best option would be to buy an aftermarket grill, but this would really well. Good luck!
I mean good for you for taking the time for the DIY video and having the balls to do this, but I think it looks more DIY and less like it's meant to look like that. That's not to discount the job you did and time you took, because honestly all that matters is that you like it! I just felt like I could see the paint droplets or "gloss" clearcoat too well on 1080p settings.
Beautiful car. I have a 2020 c43 and the front grill is similar to yours with the double wings. I am thinking about blacking it out and do it myself. Why did you plasti dip instead of vinyl wrap? Is one method better or last longer than the other?
Amazing and thanks. I traded in my c43 for the c63. Dip was just easier than wrap since you don't need that much skill. You just spray and can peel it off easy after. Wrap can get messed up and is hard to do for beginners/around the edges. I think if you go to a shop though should look great too.

Haven't had any issues so far with durability even after multiple car washes.
