Thank You Dr. Khadar and Dr. Sarala for teaching us the true meaning of " MAY YOUR FOOD BE YOUR MEDICINE" Please advise, I seem to have some difficulty in fermenting millets. I do follow your process however use a glass bowl to ferment the millet, as clay pots are not easily available here in South Africa. Should there be any distinct smell, taste, look or feel once fermented like in fermented ragi porridge?

Is it OK if we take ambali 3 times without having any vegetables, dal and pulses as per the protocol.
Without vegetables it is not a sustainable method. Vegetables add as a supplement and compliment where as millets cure diseases. Also if you remove vegetables you lose salt intake, if there is no sodium intake it will have impact on heart. So Generally not advisable.

You are mistaken, he is not against curd.
@milletmagic6609 plz don't mind Mam, but on this channel itself a video of Khadar Sir is there, uploaded on 6th May, where at 12:21 he clearly mentions that, milk and curd are no good and should not be consumed. That's why I am confused.

We should eat only millets. Rice and wheat are not our food. They are unnatural. We have 5 millets and so we have a lot of variety.

No. Earthen pot has unseen holes for oxygen to flow from inside to out and back forth. And so Ceramic pot do not serve that purpose.
