the Stryker isnt meant for an offensive purpose aka directly fighting enemies. its just made to transport troops fast, yes you can put an 50, cal on it or an 25mm gun but thats it
That's incorrect. It is meant for offensive action. This is why it is fast. The experience in scenarios as diverse as Afghanistan and Mosul shows that its main value lies in rapid advances against enemy infantry.
@DeepJiesel yeah right but that's transportation it's still not meant for direct offensive action like going tow to tow with other armoured vehicles. It's more about mobility and transportation rather than assaulting direct armoured formations
@Oxide53115 Of course not. However, if you look at Ukraine, massed armoured formations have ceased to be a thing as the drone pilots would have a field day.
@Oxide53115 Again: offensive action is not limited to going against main battle tanks. In fact, in Ukraine, MBTs are increasingly rare on the battlefield.
A great US war vehicle, it reminds me of the original Modern Warfare 2 mission where i could request support by escorting it. It was amazing and absolutely fun.
This vehicle can take troops and flank the enemy. With air support and paratroopers landing after these land vehicle have secured area for them to parachute in precise area's.
It's a great vehicle and one great trait is that it is fast. Paired with light tanks and perhaps main battle tanks I see a lack of small drone hitting hardware that has plagued a lot of the main battle tanks and vertical armor directing explosives for the top of or vulnerable areas of some of the armor vehicles. The Russians have or sell the Terminator to pair with tanks and it has a variety of uses against things in the air and in defending main battle tanks. They also send them with APC's and IFC's. Other than RAM, what do we have or need?
Most of this information is right however the crew is wrong, the gun of the MGS is wrong and I could name some other stuff too just saying, this has been leak information so😂

@@FredRickenbacher yes I know but the Stryker is still not meant for direct assaults it will barely survive grenades and RPGs

One of the best vehicles I've ever been in. A Lot to maintain but it's very mobile.

LOL the back door looks made of plastic 😂
I mean i has less horsepower then my car but is 20 tons? Is that a beat to weak
Torque matter for weight, not HP
Now that im old and can barely walk one of these rigs be great for moose hunting!I could still use the old 308 and save the other rounds for later!
India is purchasing 300 Stryker😊
Your engine info is outdated.
Nah still correct, the C7 just changed the valve cover and that's about it. The 3126 is still in service
So it's an armoured truck!. they go back to the Spanish civil war. All the additional gizmo's fitted do not change that basic fact.

i was attached to an Infantry Stryker battalion when i as in the Army in 2008-2010...almost drove one also
Remember battlefield 3 & 4
Oh Gawd Ye$ get all that data and weapons testing results! Nothing else matters!!!🤑
Indeed; see my comment above.
Ok, but the MGS model a meh😑
1 S-300 Would smash it easily
S-300 are for fight jets and not tanks.
Russia already destroyed most of them if not all of them.
Yes comrade, let’s share some borscht and wodka at the red square. What do you think about the weather in Moscow?
😂😂😂😂😂
