the real way is after u face the trainers on the bridge catch a abra but dont battle the trainer to the left. after u catch arba teleaport to pc. then go to the bridge talk to no one mew will apper only red yellow and blue. ive tryed ever other way in fire red u need the start up code for him in theses versions.
Nope! Just tried to do it. 1). There is no old man there 2). They fixed the menu glitch so that doesn't even work if the old man was there. If you have maybe a later version it could contain this glitch but the probability of this being actual footage is slim.
After hearing 'if you get blah kills on insane mode in SSBM, you can get roy' i became quite good at SSBM. even still, idk.. i used to waste people's time when I was bitter and horrible, I hope you're okay.. you can get zapdos before the elite four i know. i forgot what articuno is since i havent played this game in 4 years. moltres is after them on one of those islands you can go to after you get the national pokedex or something :P

This isn't how you even do it you were supposed to do the long range in cerulean then lower slowpoke's attack to 0 then walk right and the menu will pop up close it then a level 1 mew attacks not Lv.7
the start menu's supposed to open before the battle, next time you do something to troll people, atleast make it a complete replica, graphics excluded...I'm out.
Kamille Lévesque you can do this glitch with every trainer just save before encounter (for if you fail) then when the trainer encounters you then open the menu en use fly or teleport. find a pokemon with a particular stat (every stat is linked to a pokemon) then just defeat it and go back to the route you encountered the trainer and TADAAA!! it is there! the trainer he defeated has such stats that he found a mew
+TheRobin53 I think there are other Trainers you can battle instead, but if you just battle a random Trainer, you probably won’t get a Mew (or a real Pokémon at all)…

No, this is how the glitch works in the originals. It is the same as the mew glitch or ditto glitch.
