Great video! The Mizuno Alpha AGs are also probably my favorite boot I’ve worn in awhile. I love that the heel counter is different from the FG version as well…feels better on my heels.
hi michael i am a huge fan of dribbling i see lots of videos of your dribbling drills. i seen that your most of the videos cone weaves are warm up can i do as a main dribbling drill
It’s a great way to fire up the fast twitch fibres before training, but also enhances fast footwork and coordination which is important for changing directions quickly and being light on your feet.
I would recommend while you’re searching for a team, to spend some time with the ball every day to keep honing your skills. I would also recommend trying to find pick up games/friendly matches where you can play with other players too, which will help your understanding of the game and improve decision making.
Hi 7mlc, Thank you for all the excellent content. I have watched a lot of your videos and it has helped me improve my soccer immensely. My question is: Your skills are really good and I know you play at the professional level. However, what do you think separates the players at the Premier League and highest level from you? I can't imagine that all of those players can do those ball control, moves, juggling, shooting, etc that much cleaner or fancier or faster than you. Is it their consistency/lack of mistakes in a game and ability to apply certain skills in a game? I am really curious as it will help guide my training. For perspective, I used to play tennis at quite a high level. Although there were players out there that could do a lot of different things better than me, what allowed me to excel was that I had no glaring weakness and I could do a few things extremely well and was able to reproduce it / apply it time and time again. Do you think this is how I should train soccer? Thanks!
Hey Michael - just got these exact boots about a month ago! Probably the best balance of touch and power. Unfortunately I tweaked my knee so haven’t been able to wear them and sticking to turf shoes until I feel solid. But Mizuno AG soleplate is by far my top choice. Do you feel like the Alpha’s run a little long? I went down a full size and still need to wear an extra sock.
Wonderful training session as always mate ! You rock 🔥🔥 Mizuno alpha true to size ? And are good for ag ? Or only fg ? Cause I play only on ag field … Keep the good work 😁⚽️
Do you prefer the fg or ag soleplate of the mizuno alpha, I was torn between which one to get, ended up opting for fg because of the karvo insert and heel support even though I mostly play on ag pitches
I much prefer the AG for Artificial surfaces. The AG still has the Karvo insert, and I didn’t feel a difference in the heel area. The FG feels slightly too aggressive for me personally when playing on AG. Absolutely love the FG on grass though 👌
Hello Michael,I realise that I can’t dribble the same in match as I did in training,I can beat a lot of defenders in training but when in match I can’t even beat one,Idk why pls help.
It’s because of your brain. You’re probably overthinking every move in a game. I have to be calm act like the matches are training and dominate and have confidence
@@hayk_sevoyan i was sprinter it depends upon what you train for for eg accelration it might be 20 to 40meters and for top speed 50 to 70. dont train all out 100m sprints
Hello so I just wanted your advice for someone who really wants to try game moves on the pitch but I don't have any equipment and I'm playing alone what do you suggest I should do?
@@SuvranshuMohankuda Not something you need to worry about. Just play because you love it, and the more time you spend playing and training, the more you’ll improve 👍
Have a growth mindset mate, realise that you don’t need any equipment if you have the desire to improve. I like the additional challenges of having equipment sometimes, but I often go to the pitch with just a ball and still have an equally good training session 🤝
I went true to size on these. If you like a super tight fit you can get away with half a size down, I just personally find it too uncomfortable. Plus with the grip on the inside of the boot your completely locked in with no slippage whatsoever 🤝
Hey, I stopped playing for 2 after I graduated and now I want to go back to playing and training. You think if I put the work I’ll be able to surpass my past prime and play for my uni?
You don’t need the equipment. You can shoot on a goal without the goalshot, use cones/shoes/rolled up socks instead of cones. All you truly need is a football and a desire to improve 🤝
Hey Michael, I’ve been looking to get a pair of mizuno alphas in the AG version. Do you feel a difference compared to the amount of bite you get on the FG version on a synthetic pitch? I’ve had a few injuries as a result of playing on AG and I wanted to know if this boot would be something I could use to prevent future injuries
Hey mate! I definitely feel much safer in the AG version. Much less clingy to the ground and gives a lot of freedom when pivoting. I found the FG version was too aggressive, but the AG version is my go to for playing on artificial surfaces now 🤝
Michael u havent posted anything about your workout, how do you workout, we want a well explained video for those with equipment as well as no equipment, as i only have dumbells.
I don’t personally wear specific socks for specific boots, just whichever socks I find comfortable. Personally I like lite-guard socks, or Nike dri-fit crew socks 👍
