@@Ju5t4l1z4rdit might have something to do with the fact it has its own volatile rebound built into the weapon. Even with that in mind it does NOT need thrown mods. Maybe throw distance would be nice but even so with enough status chance you can make entire rooms blow up with so much blast status.
if only DE would FIX THE EXPLOSION BUG!!! It has been broken for months....... I am very agrivated as it is my favorite melee and the explosion does not work unless you are HOST
Falcor is high key my favourite thrown, I love it’s insane tracking and forced punch through even with volatile quick return this traits also makes volatile rebound really fun
Personally, I don't mind using the Rauta (Kullervo's signature shotgun) for building up combo for the thrown melees and then chucking the big bomb out. Slap in the Dexterity Arcane for taste if you want to actually kill with Rauta, but largely unneeded if you don't mind quickly popping shots. It can allow for use with Gladiator set, Bloodrush, and Weeping Wounds for higher crit/status chances than usual. It's more set-up, admittedly, so it's likely slower and takes up a second slot on your loadout just for functionally a melee primer
You can always keep dexterity for QoL of combo points usage. Focus Energy&Radon=80% efficiency, or maybe riven with some (I use Hate riven with 80% efficiency myself) and you don't even have to recharge combo often :D
Yeah! New player here. On day 42. Upgraded the xoris and it literally one shots everything. This cant be right. Took me 15 odd days to relaize you could even do the heavy attack click. But since then.
If anything falcor is the cooler brother. It is homing, higher disposition, and 30m range as well.The explosion size won’t matter as much if there’s a riven
Try mirage + total eclipse + volatile rebound + xoris + influence. Eclipse is bugged and gives extra damage to glaives, and mirage throws 5. Its a very powerful nuke.
I wish we could get some more stances for glaives so bad since while throwing them is nice i like to build combo some times and its just horrid when used as a actual melee between knocking enemys away or the issues where if your speed is to much it trys to throw it when your melee'ing over and over, or the bounce build bug where the weapon just yeets off to never come back till the end of the mision. We need a way to redeploy our weapons so we can force it to come back or if we get disarmed and dont find them.
Glaves are even more busted than we think, on mirage all clones do mele attacks,unlike ranged attacks (secondary and primary) which are only 3 clones so when all 4 clones are throwing a xoris that’s 5 of them at once
I don't think slash is the best "pound for pound" dot at all, sure it ignores armor, but it's just straight up a weaker dot than electricity/gas, if you have any armorstrip at all then slash isn't too great
My personal fav is Saryn's toxin, way better slash coz it Saryn also strips and got tau greens for its damage, while slash does not :D Further increased by the fact of using melee and then even further with primed fever strike etc

about pathocyst u could use melee duplicate build + viral gas its just way more stronger than influence. and orvius just add heat for blast and electric to proc influence. as in glaive adding another element unlike other melees lower ur dmg. so i suggest removing viral from it and keep blast electric.
Beginning statemnets need to be edited... well what you said is true but in testing they broke the glaibe prime when they unvaulted it. It was damge king among the glaive but now it isnt.

Thats how and only case of me using volatile rebound tho, but no matter what I personally hate autoaiming with it :D So its all up to personal pref
Glaives are broken cause they’ll loosen and break the analog stick on your controller after spamming them all the time :]

Glaive Prime as I said is shortcut to weapon if u can get it easly, just grab it and you gonna do fine with w/e u wanna do :D

No you don't, you can go ready steel+coaction drift if you want 4x, these will kill anyway :D If you don't like the combo points use w/e u like more

Enemies being capped at 90% armor value done Glaive Prime dirty in terms of its power, but thats good coz it enabled so much more play in the game
