For someone who had skipped college to create my own furniture company, I have always been inspired by naturally curious people who just like to create for the world. Documentaries, people, and true artists like Shakey should be highlighted and looked up to so much more than they are. Thank you Shakey, this is truly inspirational!
Can't decide if Alejandro picking the flower or kicking his heels together made me laugh out loud harder in my apartment. Thanks for a great start to the week
I have been dying to listen to 'Look Alive' ever since I heard it live in SF a few months ago. So stoked for the rest of the album and also the rest of these episodes!
So cool. I have tickets to Shakey Graves Live in my city tonight, it got cancelled because of Corona. I just found this though so thanks! I really hope Shakey will still play in South Africa when the world decides to re-open, the music just totally resonates with my soul.
Ever since I was introduced to your music by my dad I haven’t been able to stop listening. You’ve really encouraged me to continue with my music career. You’ve got an amazing gift and am so glad you share it with us. Keep making this beautiful stuff!!
Ur sounds and everything in how u make music is so great i crave just hearing the twang of each note and all of the sounds the old school and un conventional ways u bring sound to my ears. Ur story and search for music and to make new sounds is amazing
I remember the day I walked into End of an Ear asking for a copy of of this new release called Roll the Bones. They had no idea what I was talking about (since there was no physical release at that time). Getting to see you play with Dr. Dog in New Braunfels was a highlight of my last year. This video is top notch -- very much looking forward to what is next!
Had to watch again so I could pause it on the stats, loving them! Everything about this is so fucking wonderful, funny, cool and just so much fun to watch! Thank you Shakey/Alejandro and everyone else! Can't wait to see the rest of the series! Thanks again!
This comment is from my future self, "Thanks so much for sharing this!" You are inspiring and you're music and voice connect with me in a magical way that few others have.... Respect and gratitude dude!
It was so amazing! I was next to the photographer the first day and she gave me a polaroid picture she took of Shakey that first day. Absolutely unforgettable tour!
This put an ear to ear grin on my face, thank you so much for your music; for sharing your story! I've been following you for such a long time & can't wait to see where you take me. Love you, Gorgeous!
Badass! Your first album will always jam at my campfire. Epic heart and soul in those melodies. Hunger, heat, and heart just flow through on those early songs. Reminds me of a listening to my dad and his friend when I was a boy-little known bar room country singers named Jeff Faddis & Tye Smith. They had that type of heart and hunger-totally raw emotion in the songs. Keep up the great work Man! Thank you!
Always thought I had pretty solid music knowledge, and up until Friday I had no idea Shakey Graves existed. I feel like I've wasted so much of my life and can't get those years back now. Fuck yeah to the future though.
I've been watching small chunks of this at a time during my bathroom breaks at work. Got a talking to cause I was spending "too much time" in the thunder box. Worth it. You girls are funny.
Heart broken that we won’t get to see you in Joburg due to the virus - but we have lockdown private dance parties to your incredible music in our kitchen ❤️ what a prolific song writer!
I AM LIVING FOR THIS! Remember seeing you at Sasquatch in 2012/2013 (around that time) thanks for continuing to do badass projects like this! Love following your journey and your work!
Thank you so much for this. Much need respite in this time of darkness. so thankful you and your music exist, it makes my days better! Keep on rockin. “You wanna see a dead body” on the hamburger phone. Classic. ❤️
Remember in 2015 when Shakey saw some noise rock bands and then proceeded to turn some of his live songs into noise-rock-esque takes? My hearing still hasn't recovered, but it was a sacrifice I would make again!✌️✌️
You’re truly a gift to the world my dude. My life hasn’t been quite the same since I found your music and I’m so thankful for that. Keep on rockin’.
i felt this

Does anyone know the name of the song at 10:38?
I’ve literally been searching for this song for years it’s on a BMTH song too
Anyone know if this will be available only "live", or can I queue it up whenever? I'm guessing the latter, but definitely don't want to miss it...
So good
Raise your hand if you paused to read everyone's 'stats' that popped up! 🙋♀️
As hello gorgeous I approve 😆❤
I really hope century city is on the new album!
What is that cute little bass Jon is playing?
I love how he’s talking about seventh grade in the showing footage of him with a beard like I figured he would have a beard in seventh grade
