The part I found to be called "Camshaft Bridge" Mfg Part #066109210AC. ECS Part #ES#278128. Eurovaner's report the mesh-gasket is impossible to find a replacement for. Others point at the issue with the VVT's being clog due to sludge or in some cases pieces of the mesh that had disintegrated it in. Looking at your sprockets, they were not very worn, which prompts me to ask, what kind of codes were you getting? Also, did you replaced the VVT's or how did you clean them? A video of that would have been the first on TH-cam!
mine were not bad, so I just cleaned them with a brillo pad and Super Purple cleaner. I also blew compressed air through to make sure they were not clogged.
