- Watch until the end on this one. The black critters in the background are 4 miles away...just fyi, they were safe. So glad for the chance to try some further distances. My ratio in that wind was 5/13 impacts... 25mph sustained crosswinds with gusts near 35-40mph real time (not a bad ratio considering). Almost every shot was quite close, favoring edges mostly, elevation was decently consistent at 18.5 mils, windage was anywhere from 4.5 mils to 7 mils of true hold. Time of flight was 3 seconds. Thanks to all the sponsors who helped me get out and ring some steel. Now, can anyone watching help find a 2 mile location within 15 hours of MN?

For those who might be confused about the cattle or the building behind, the mirage is messing with you. Those are miles and miles away
Those are some insane winds going on, great shooting! Can you possibly use a trigger cam sometime for those shots ?
We intended to, but unfortunately the weather was so difficult we had to remove variables this time. I'll try next time.
Befriend some of the good old boys in the flats of western Minnesota. You will find 2 miles easy. But ya know there are only rocks and cows out here. LoL
I need to look into that, it's hard to find a single mile that doesn't have a road or water running through it though. That's the tough part. And of course, safety concerns. That's the place I hope to find something though!
How did you make those wind calls? I'm betting you had more to go on than just wind flags. Great shooting; you and your team got on the target immediately.
You bet, I used the crosswind compass and a weather flow shown in the video, but I also have stand alone videos on that product to check out for anyone interested
@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan Great videos. Thanks for passing on the information. You put out great content as always!
