Notes from the video 1. Adopt the AP test mindset youre tested on how well you can think historically and not just content so don't start studying content first 2. Know your grading rubrics (DBQ and LEQ) read and know it well 3. Take practice exams once a week from teachers (AP classroom) or in a review book 4. Know your content ditch your textbook- will overwhelm you and have content you don't need use CED (course exam room description)- can be found online where college board outlines everything that could be on exam; anything not on it will not be on the exam - look at learning objectives& illustrative examples (know at least two of them)

@@everardo6482 I got a 4 last year, but what I did was focus on the rubric. As long as you know some content that can fit into an argument then you should be good content wise. Aim for as much points as YOU can personally handle. Don’t shoot too high or you’ll bite off more than you can chew and end up w/ a bad score. Gauge yourself with practice and get comfortable w/ the version of the test you’re taking. I recommend Heimler’s history bc he’s the person that really taught me all this! I hope you do great :D
Heimler really is my saving grace in history classes. Last year I managed to squeeze out a 5 in AP World thanks to binge watching his videos during quarantine. And before every test I have in APUSH this year, I have to watch his review videos. Thank you so much, Heimler. You’re doing god’s work.

@@universaldelight2277 At school, my teacher had a few practice DBQ’s that we completed over the school year. Fortunately, I didn’t have to take the multiple choice test; the test only had one DBQ. I would definitely watch Heimler’s videos on how to write a DBQ too.

i know i’m not heimler, but the way i’m gonna do it is study content, take the practice exam, and then re study what I got wrong. and the another practice exam and so on.

You should probably use that and taken notes while you watch Heimer/Crash Course (or some other history channel) for extra review. It helps to get a lot of repetition!
Heimler, My class is just barely starting Unit 7 of AP World History. I know it is impossible for my teacher to go through all the content in the remainder units before the exam in about a month. What should I do?

I literally started studying a week before my WHAP exam with Heimler's videos last year and I got a 4, hopeful starting a month before the exam this year might get me a 5 in APUSH 😊
@@heartovermatter333 I felt the exact same way before my exam last year. As long as you know the general concepts about each unit you should be fine. Heimler has about 10 minute videos for each unit in WHAP, so I watched about 5 of those videos everyday and took 1 or 2 pages of notes for each unit. It took me about 2-3 hours everyday for a week, so if you're starting now you should be totally fine. You really don't need to study the content as much as you need to study the formatting of the SAQ, DBQ, and LEQ's.

I’m using it too! It cuts right into the stuff you need to know and it’s not as dense as other textbooks
