The main reason I’m watching this video is because my teacher hasn’t really been teaching this year and I’m really nervous for the exams coming up bc I don’t feel prepared 😬
Why isn’t your teacher teaching? Could be that the teacher is from another discipline who the principal had to put there because of a hiring problem. Or maybe the student isn’t doing their work? I give you some credit for seeking a way to learn so maybe you are doing the smart thing.
I did exactly this last year. I took a federal government at my community college and then studied the course and the AP test using the amsco US Gov textbook and also watched tons of Khan Academy Videos on US Government. I wished I focused a little bit more on the writing aspect as last year of course it was just an essay rather than what a full mcq which is what i was mostly preparing for. But anyways I passed and got a 100 on my final. It’s definitely doable! I did the exact same for AP English Lang and then self studied AP Bio with tons of help from my old pre ap biology teacher.

LOVE THIS VIDEO! I finished Ap microeconomics on apex learning and my school is even putting it on my transcript. Emile learning and khan academy are also great resources
@Kaushik Reddy If you are taking the class, then you should be fine for the AP exam by prepping 40 minutes per exam per day starting in March. Personally, I am going full-force in studying for the AP Micro exam after I take the March SAT. If you are self-studying, then you should start now and take one hour per subject. In all, I plan to complete the 5 steps to a 5 book, the princeton review book, the barron's book, and all available FRQ's before my exam.
@Kaushik Reddy go to their website and purchase a course. Make sure that when ur finished, you can get the credits on ur school transcript. Apex will provide a transcript and final grade when ur done and u can send that to your school

Next year I’ll be a junior and I‘ll be transferring to a different school which doesn’t have AP Physics as a course but I really want to take it because I’m thinking about pursuing astrophysics as a career or something along that kind of field. Anyways, I don’t even know how I’ll go about finding a place to take the AP Physics exam yet or if I’ll even take it next year as I might just wait for Senior year since I will be taking an honors physics class next year but does anyone have any tips on how I should go about this?

Well as a freshman in an early college high school, I’ve heard that summer programs in your field of interest are good and show colleges that you are getting ahead and maximizing your opportunities!
I was originally planning to take the subject tests since my school doesn’t offer APs and they’re not exactly the most affordable for me, even with a few waiver. And since I didn’t enroll at the beginning of the year, I’d have to pay the late fee as well. Now, I kind of have no choice, and I don’t know what to do. I have a job, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to make enough in time. What would you recommend? I’ve never been so frustrated before.

As for the one’s on youtube they’re good, but getting like a prep book is pretty good. Khan Academy isn’t that bad, like for example, I used to use it for AP Physics and it delineates the concepts well with videos and documents, but for other classes on their, it wouldn’t be good just to rely on Khan Academy.
Hey I Olán in taking the AP Spanish language test without the class because I need the credit and I am Cuban lived there my whole life, came here two years ago and I studied the language and literature of it for 8 years in school, is that good enough for at least a passing score, even thought I am aiming much higher and of course study and prepare for the exam.
I took the AP Spanish language class but when I took the actual test, I realized that I didn’t even need the class because it was so easy (I’m Mexican and I’m fluent in Spanish) I recommend at least use College Board to study a bit.
@@mariacaballero595 Well, my grammar isn’t 100% perfect which is why I got a 4 instead of a 5 I believe. Make sure to have very good grammar when you have to do the speaking parts and to speak enough and clearly!
@@oscarromero9328 my grammar is perfect like I said I went through the pain of studying Spanish for 8 years in an actual Hispanic school and I had excellent grades 97%+ and I know how to speak fluently but even thought you must talk clearly in the moment. And tbh to a non Spanish speaker that must have been hard

Hi!! I will be a sophomore next year and I was thinking of AP World, AP Seminar, and AP Psychology. I also do a sport and karate in which I would be busy from 3-5 then again from 6-7. Is this too much for me? I currently take an AP class now and I could definitely do two, but idk about three?
AP World really depends on your teacher but in general it should be just as a regular advanced social studies class. AP Seminar throughout most of the year is not much workload only when you actually have to do presentations(which are part of your AP exam). The only one I would say may have a workload is Pyschology but if you weigh that with the other two, you should be fine. In general the hardest it will probably get for you in terms of workload and time is at the end of the year when you have to study for the AP exams. Otherwise, it shouldn’t be too bad.
I’m going to start learning content tomorrow and hopefully I will be prepared (goal is to at least get a 3) for AP test. my school doesn’t offer E&M and I haven’t found anywhere great to take it online. It’s also helpful that the late test this year is in June so that gives us 4 months to study as opposed to 3. Im going to use the textbook mostly and consult my AP physics 1 and 2 teacher for help- not an ideal situation but hopefully it will all work out!
AP physics have 4 courses: AP phys C Mechanics, AP phys C Electricity and Magnetism, those two are calculus-based and 2 AP phys courses that are algebra-based. IBDP is algebra-based and it contains more topics than AP such as Thermodynamics, Modern Physics and Optics. I'd say they are not similar in terms of style but both of them counted as credits in colleges
Yeah AP Physics 1 is a semester course stretched into two semesters, that’s how it is for my class. It starts from Kinematics to Rotational motion/Torque. AP Physics 2 goes more into thermal energy conversions whereas also building on the concepts from AP Physics 1.

For Calculus BC, I find them pretty on par. Just take notes and it'll be fine.
I would use them as a last resort
I used it last year, BUY A REVIEW BOOK. Khan Academy does not give practice questions that are hard enough to get a 4 or 5. It can be used to review.
